Years later, I just noticed the guy struggling with the word "emergency" wasn't a joke about his accent. It was the implication that things are so laid back and peaceful there that they lack training on unprecedented events. Genius.
KND operatives who enter their 13th birthday were either decommissioned and lost their memories or continue as a secret undercover op for the KND like what Maurice(Number 9) and Chad (Number 274) did. Chad did really impressed us at first about becoming a villain working for adults tyranny and evil teens but it was later revealed that he was never really decommissioned by the KND and he is secretly working with them.
The twist she was his cousin was very out of the blue in retrospect. I can't think of person who talks that way to their cousin you know without it actually being flirty
My cousin was like this before, but she knows better not to date me. Its usually her teasing me, this was years back. Nowadays she has a boyfriend (not related of course).
Trust me, I used to talk to my cousin like that. Hell, during the first wedding I attended before I was ten, my cousin and I were sitting on the footrest bar beneath the bar counter having kiddie cocktails. Some of the best men were laughing saying how cute, that we were in love. I punched one in the nuts, he wasn’t expecting it, doubles over, smacked his head on the counter and goes down. Quickly grabbed my cousin’s hand, my drinks, and led her away from them. That side of the extended family still doesn’t like me for it.
@@edwardhoffenheim3249 Doubt it if you want, but it did. I still remember that stupid blue little blazer I wore with my red clip on tie and stretchy waistband khakis. Same one I popped a button on the following Christmas brunch.
Nigel's cousin definitely have some of his traits of no-nonsense, but more collected than he is, like anyone seen him raging over Fanny's keychain quest?
@@jaygooese4242 number to doesn't realize that's number ones cousin right I mean they're basically relatives because I don't know how it's possible but maybe her mom is related to number one mom in a way I don't know I never got the full story or the family tree
Ikr, It was so unfair of Lizzie to do that to Nigel. One minute he has a good thing going and actually enjoying himself for once, And the next minute Lizzie shows up and ruins it but it wouldn't be the first time.
I'm really glad that Nigel break up with Lizzie because she's always getting on my nerves and their relationship isn't always that good most of the time either (I know she's the one who broke up with him but still)
She cared about him but she was way too bossy and demanding and constantly coming between him and his friends. She was also way too needy. He deserved better
@@mechajay3358Actually it varied. Know that medieval kingdoms in Europe had policies against marrying first cousins, except under certain dispensations.
The concept of worrying about inter-family relationships is relatively new in history. People were still regularly marrying their cousins or distant relatives as late as the closing days of the 1700s in many parts of the world. Royalty was notorious for this, and even encouraged it to “protect the royal bloodline.” You also have to remember that there *used to be less than 1 million people on earth* for most of history, and that most people could not travel very far beyond their homeland due to poverty, war, and the dangers of attempting such a journey. Thus, the likelihood that your wife was actually in some way related to you was MUCH higher than it is today.
I get her defending herself from the accusation of dating her cousin... but damn girl theres a thing called tact. You could just said he was complete workaholic and left it at that. He was made bald by the Delightful children against his will and the underwear callout in public was cruel.
Are we all just going to ignore that she was checking out his underwear to begin with? Noticing a logo on a T-shirt is one thing but looking at things poking out of someone’s shorts is a bit different
I couldn't blame Nigel for wanting to leave at the end of this episode. Because just when he was starting to relax and enjoy himself, Lizzie had to show up and ruin everything for him like usual.
Lizzie: Thats disgusting! You cant date your cousin! Numbuh 10: But I dont want to date him. Lizzie: WHATS WRONG WITH DATING HIM!? Lizzie should have just been glad she wasnt trying to date Nigel but only to end up getting offended over her refusing to date Nigel lmao.
I know you all are joking about dating cousins (at least hopefully), but let’s not forget that thanks to the G:KnD, turns out Nigel was dating a plant alien. Crazy in hindsight indeed.
@@raihokyol1566a few years ago the creator of the show made an animatic to try and pitch a continuation of the show and it was revealed that a couple of the side characters including Lizzy were aliens
“And where did you get that Sarong? GORGEOUS! I didn’t know it was the right shape for my body-“ *Video Ends* I wasn’t expecting that abrupt ending! 😭😭
"You, you're cousins? That's disgusting, you can't date your cousin. And what's wrong dating with Nigel Uno?" -Lizzy @0315 Well, she's technically right, there's such thing of dating your cousins in certain states and parts of the word. Disgusing, but not a new phenomenon. 🤷🏾😬🥴😵💫🤯😲😳
They never specify which generation of cousins though, all I know is that 1st cousins are basically the same as a brother or sister while the higher the number the less bloodline you share and I think 4th cousins is where the bloodline is too far off where it’s basically not related at all.
This may be one of my favorite Lizzie moments. It encapsulates many of the things I love about the character, specially for that capacity that has from being really cute, to extremely terrifying and then ending up being something unexpected. The fact she ended up being friends with Numbuh 10 was really funny, I remember laughing my ass off when I was young, and still doing today.
In Operation Zero, Numbuh 1's father was revealed to be Numbuh 0; and his mother was revealed to Numbuh 999, as well as the first female KND operative. If Numbuh 10's father was Numbuh 999's brother, then there may be a possibility that the 3 of them may've worked together to defeat Grandfather back when they were kids. Maybe.
In the GKND (Galactic Kids Next Door) it was later revealed that Lizzie was an alien operative for the GKND, named Numbuh Vine. That means that Numbuh 1 was dating an alien the whole time. I wonder: how ironic would it be if Numbuh 10 ended up dating an alien GKND operative as well? What do you think?
I find it a very nice touch that they made sure she was related to Nigels' MOM's brother and not his DAD's brother, because otherwise she'd be related to Father
