The whole irony is when she becomes more narcissistic and unhinged, Kuzco actually starts to act a little more as her voice of reason. And once she’s back to normal, he reverts back to his usual personality.
Honestly, Malina is probably tied with Kronk and Yzma in terms of my favourite characters in this show; what I like is that she doesn't feel out of place despite being an original character for the show. She seems like she wouldn't be out of place in Emperor's New Groove at all.
It's been forever since I watched the show, barely remembering certain moments, but I'm fairly convinced Yzma did it to mess with her...especially considering how Kronk pointed out "Can they do that without so much as a word of warning?"
Jessica DiCicco's voice roles included: Maggie Pesky in The Buzz on Maggie (2005-2006) Malina in The Emperor's New School (2006-2008) Gwen Wu in The Mighty B! (2008-2011) Flame Princess in Adventure Time (2011-2018) Tambry in Gravity Falls (2012-2015) Toby in Sheriff Callie's Wild West (2013-2017) Lucy Loud and Lynn Loud in The Loud House (2015-2023)
I will always remember that episode when Kuzco had a school Performance and was so sure everyone would show up but no one did. Except for Malina who cheered him up. That was the moment when I realized she was a keeper beside her looks.
Ugh, I don't remember transcription staff to illustrate my point, but they don't pronounce it exactly like "raspberry" in that dubbing if I remember it correctly, there is a one-sound difference, but I think its a bit blurred in English.
Okay, I used to watch the series in Russian when I was a kid, and…ooh boy, I didn’t expect her og voice to be this high… It’s not bad, I think I like it even more, it’s just surprising.
My main surprise was learning how Phineas' voice sounded in the original. It's not like they have nothing in common with Russian dub, but the difference is quite obvious, and up till this day I still think Russian voice suits him better, heh. So, what I'm trying to say, Malina is not that shocking after that...
Can we just apprieciate that Kuzco jumped in to help Kronk with that closing door and telling Malina that they got to leave? Kuzco could’ve just left kronk to lift the door or bailed on them but he didn’t.
"Come on! Nobody's _that_ heartless!" ~Kuzco (Emperor's New Groove) While he may be self-centered most of the time, he has his moments of doing the right thing unprompted. Even without that, he's got a thing for Malina, so he wouldn't leave _her_ trapped.
Good to know Kuzco was there for Malina when she went a bit over dramatic and slightly unhinged, knowing when to step in and to simply let Malina have her moments of slight unhinged behavior.
@@DaveBorer she had another one in the scrapped script of "Kingdom of the sun" where, unlike her official release version, is more like an actual witch//sourceress rather than just a crazy scientist In that version she had a father who used to be the royal mortician and taught her daughter Yzma some occultistic tricks, she also used to seek for revenge against the sun for making her look the way she always does and also against the emperor just like the one we finally had, but instead of turning him into a llama, she wanted to advocate an evil god of the night and an army of evil spirits and dark creatures to acchieve "eternal youth" and probably taking the empire for herself She also used to have a theme song of her own known as "Snuff out the light" You can search for it, it's a banger
According to my little research Fred Tatasciore voiced him in season 1 and then Mr. Goodman came back for his role as Pacha for season 2 Pdata: Fred Tatasciore also voiced animated versions of the Hulk and Carnage in some Spiderman videogames i think And we have no more seasons possibly because Eartha Kitt's passed away in 2008 (she voiced Yzma)
What? You think I'm not okay? That I'm upset? Well I'm not. I would be upset if cheerleading was a big part of who I am, but it's not. Even if it was that A- is a mistake and when it's fixed we're gonna laugh about it right? HAHA Okay, good talk.
the irony of Melina's getting kicked out of cheerleading because of not getting an A+ is that in most media in films and tv shows, Cheerleaders barely get A's and mostly get B's or C's in order to stay in the squad.
