I have the carrier and the hypalon on the rear has started to rub off / degrade near the laser cut holes after a few days of use, has anyone else experienced this?

The way it carries is way too close to a purse for my liking but it is a highly functional bag at a good size

I think you're carrying it wrong. The straps' main two buckles should be attached to the top two latch points. The extra strap buckle can be hooked to any of the other latch points or just onto another buckle to keep the strap tidy.

Hey Kevin - it’s been designed to be used with any attachment configuration that’s most comfortable with the carry style. I found the top & bottom configuration to be better for horizontal, cross-body carry near the hip since it keeps the sling level for easy access. - Tom

Please streamline your two RU-vid channels - it's been confusing at times since reviews are being posted on both channels, and the review process itself is inconsistent (e.g. different testing periods etc). Maybe Quick Hits can be reserved specifically for initial impressions/product summaries and comparisons. The main channel then could be for full reviews after a set amount of time spent testing
