Makes me wonder why Roberts chose to pinch hit for Cody with Austin Barnes to face Josh Hader in game 2 of the NLDS this year. Cody has had way more success against Hader than Barnes.

Man statistics-wise, he is not worth it to be back in blue next seaskn. But my heart says bring him back again. I missed those days where he hit 47 HRs in a season, those clutch hits and HRs that defies who he was, and that powerful swing that crushes the ball. He had so many game saving and series saving hits for LAD. That HR against the Braves in the 2020 Game 7 NLCS that sent them to the WS coming back down 1-3 in the series, the clutch hit in the 2021 NLDS against the NL West champs SF Giants who were 1 game ahead of them in the regulars, those catches and robberies that saved them games. Since that shoulder injury, he lost his swing and never been the same again. What I'm afraid of is if he signs to another team and re-emerges as the Bellinger we knew. It will be a hard pill to swallow.

I'm not sure why you put up Cody's best highlights as much as we enjoyed them, if the Dodgers aren't gonna sign him! Sign him back up with the Dodgers. Regardless to who don't care for him due to his bat. That's gonna come back with the adjustments and healing of the shoulder that really should be healed now it taken care of properly!

His throw in the 10th of 2018 WS gm3 to nail Kinsler at home was amazing. Not a perfect throw, but the velocity was so strong, it was amazing to see. Better than Joe Fergusons throw in the 74 WS vs A's Sal Bando at home in gm1.
