Dodgers are a good team. Not a great team. The problem isn’t their talent. It’s that they are the most underperforming team for their available talent in the league. It’s so uninspiring.
The Inconsistent offense is putting a lot of pressure on starters and the bullpen. The hitting coaches need to get shaken up. There's not enough aggression at the plate. I know the strikezone is off with these umpires but they are watching too many close pitches or watching pitches that have been getting called as strikes consistently the whole game even though they "shouldn't be". When that happens to Mookie, he usually adjusts and tries to put the ball in play when he sees it again because he knows HE HAS TO, it's getting called a strike. Everyone else needs to figure out how to do that instead of shaking their heads up there to show up the umpire and continuing to take that pitch for a strike. And I know he's a nostalgic favorite, but 1 HR doesn't turn it all around, you cannot justify the presence of Chris Taylor in this lineup. Even if he's the best clubhouse guy in the world, he's a statistical sea mine right now, not even an anchor that stops the ship, he straight up sinks it.
Why take out Ramirez he throws a perfect inning and then taken out for a search of a pitcher who can cough up four runs!!!! FIRE FRIEDMAN and ridiculous pitching revolving door philosophy!!!!
So here is the pattern. No one is hitting. Opposing teams know how to pitch us. Only reason we are still in first place is because of a weak division. Is a weak team. Weak pitching, Yamamoto now is the next victim. Muncy, Kershaw, May,,,,Taylor can’t hit a beach ball. etc. We should be used to this at this point. Who’s next? On the other hand weak teams have made it to the playoffs and even the WS. So…we shall see.
The big three have been trash. Unacceptable for the type of money they’re getting. I hope they get it together but at a certain point you have to acknowledge this team has a culture problem. Someone’s gotta light a fire and it’s never gonna be Dave Roberts.
I’m a huge fan of Shohei. But I can’t lie. I’ve never seen Shohei play this poorly. This is not Shohei we’ve known. I suspect there’s something wrong. At the end of may he hit his head hard when he got tagged on the 3rd base. I suspect he suffered concussion or something then.
I don’t understand why Robert’s always sit players after a good game. CT3 and Miguel Rojas come up with clutch hits and earn a day off instead of playing time
Boy the panic and over dramatic ass fans are hilarious 😂 man so annoying, First place by a mile, Players injured to return with 90 damn games left to play and a trade deadline nearing, If y’all don’t sh** up and relax
Nobody hates the Dodgers more than their own fans apparently. The entitilement in this fanbase is more annoying than the team underperforming. Let's go Dodgers!
I’ve been thinking this for a minute! Shut the hell up! The ones that are like that have never played baseball and don’t realize how hard this game is.. this is why you see other athletes swing a bat or throw a ball or catch and they look silly as hell no matter how great they are at their sport.
