he sure helped create the sound that we all expect to hear from Cody and The TDH....i often wonder if that is why he dose not play a lot of the old stuff live anymore is that Jon was such a huge part of it and its just not the same...Memory and a Dream, Mr. Griffin, See the Man, Fast hand all have Jon doing some epic picking

There were about 50 people at this show..., first time to see Cody, Jon's Tele talent is on display on the Porter Union record released last year...who opened this show...the next night, Cody opened for them...cool weekend

My Siberian chills to Cody. He just will not drink a shot of whiskey with me, so I pour him a little Guiness, he likes that. But Nikko knows he's got to be moderate with booze, so he doesn't even finish an ounce, and he's satisfied. I don't get my boy dog drunk. That's not cool.
