I had the opportunity to meet Cody a few yrs ago, it was during the lowest point in my life with my divorce coming, I told Cody his music was getting me threw it. His response was incredible, and the look he gave me was for sure he was sad to hear about my marriage, keep moving forward sir !!!!

Seen him open for Jamey Johnson June 17 in my home town Durant ok.... lets just say crowd was chanting for Cody even when Jamey was on stage. Jamey Johnson is the man and he played with a huge band, multiple drummers horn section etc, but Cody is such the real deal that I don't think its wise to have him as your opener. Jamey did call Cody on stage and the whole place was chanting Cody Cody Cody! it gave you chill bumps was flippin awesome! You go Denton/Ft worth boy! I guarantee ill see more shows. Just met Cody in Boiling Springs, SC and i have to tell you.. Not only is his music amazing and real.. But this one hell of a damn man. We talked for a while and hung out and he was very down to earth and appreciative of all his fans. I felt like i had known him my whole life as we drank beer by the fire. Saw Cody Jinks on Instagram today. Sorry to say that I didn't know who he is. I looked him up on You Tube. Wow, he's a great singer with a great band. I love this song. So happy that I found this. I've listened to this song all day. Also sent it to my best friend whom I've gone to many concerts with and she loved his music. Ask my son if he had heard him and he said he had tickets to see him at the Tennessee Theater in Knoxville, Tn.
