Somewhat sparse but a well written song. It's stayed on my playlist since it came out to remind myself whiskey ain't my thing anymore (pretty close to two yrs. since we parted ways). The song was actually written by Josh Morningstar...a singer songwriter from Maryland who has quite a few number 1's under his belt. Another song he wrote but also performs is "Sellout?" Josh also co-wrote "Tell 'em What it's Like". It's a true story about Cody's wife, Rebecca and her experiences of being married to a Country star. She's been with Cody since they were only eighteen, so I'm sure she's been through it all! Thanks for the shout-out today and thanks again for such a well done reaction to David Olney's song.

Good solid, traditional country from Cody which deals with a typically country theme, namely drinking to forget. Excellent review/rating as always, Don, and keep rockin' dat country.

Haltom City is a suburb of Ft. Worth I like this song ok but it would be a lot better without that roar. Is it a guitar or synthesizer? It'll sound dated pretty fast. Think about Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, Patsy Clone. All their music has perfect sound, as fresh today as it was in the days it was new. That sound is timeless. I keep wondering when someone will figure that out- like George Strait did, and Randy Travis came very close.
