It is unpredictable who will win, Lance is new and he is demolishing everyone, but on the other hand Cody is from beggining and proved a lot. Both interesting and we will see who will succeed

@@holdthetruthhostage With all due respect WTF are you talking about? Mox is about 6'2" or 6'3" so that isn't a little guy. Jericho was the most famous person in the company, so it made a lot of sense to have the belt 1st, and he is still around 220lb ish. Cody is about 6'1" and nearly 220lbs . Cody is also a 2x Georgia State wrestling champion, so that means he can actually fight.... I understand if you are talking about Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, Or Jungle Boy, but those guys aren't champs yet. Even the tag champs are both over 200lbs, so you have no point.

Lance should win the championship. As long as the match is great and have great sells during the match. Cody can deliver all of that.

I think Lance should take the win, he is having a great run since he debuted and a loss might make him a bit less “scary”. Plus Cody losing wouldn’t actually do anything to harm his credibility. Also if Lance wins whoever takes the belt from him is probably gonna look amazing in doing such task

They pushed him hard so that losing to Cody a) won't really hurt him and b) makes Cody look formidable (Dusty used to do the same thing when he booked) My prediction : Cody wins after turning heel. He'll hold the belt for a few months, giving it credibility before losing it to Darby Allin. Archer goes on to feud with Moxley for the WC.

@@tmage23 More like the other way around? I don't see how loosing will hurt Cody. Placing a belt on Lance would be a good move. They can always have a rematch. Let's not forget that AEW might have signed Cage or Sting already & might have plans bigger then Cody as a champ.

Lance Archer and Orange Cassidy are my two favorite wrestlers at the moment and I don't think I'm alone with this one. I can see those two being the modern day Stone Cold and Rock. I really hope AEW play their cards right with those two.

Don't think it happens tonight, but I've had this aching feeling that Cody is about to turn heel, and I'd be all for it. Maybe he starts to feel entitled to things he's not getting in AEW. Maybe he starts feeling like he doesn't need the elite, seeing as he hasn't been around them a whole lot on TV lately. I can see so many ways Cody goes heel after this match.

If cody truly wants to grow the company and not be like the others, he should give Lance the first TNT championship reign, make it into a storyline where Cody can't seem to win when it comes to Championships or something, then WHEN he does win won, get that big pop as if it's been coming a long time.
