I like to keep my hands busy. I prefer making things, rather than housework.

All cars pay a road tax, except for some old vintage cars. The money is supposed to go towards the upkeep of the roads. You wouldn't think it does going by amount of potholes we have to negotiate.

@@meanqueensuperscrimper8908 Collect the slugs and put them into a bucket of rain water, leave them for a month then strain the water and use this to spray around your garden. The smell sends out a warning to other slugs, no more slugs.

Good morning. Chop up an assortment of vegetables, can be anything you have. Put in pan, add water, not too much because vegetables will shrink when cooking. Add herbs and spices of your choice. Bring to the boil, simmer for a few minutes (10) Make up half a packet of cheese sauce mix in a mug with cold water. Add to the pan, simmer for 2 more minutes, and it is done. Big pan makes 3 - 4 portions.

Insurance - if you are involved in a wreck, insurance takes care of some of the repairs and medical treatment for any injures (USA). car tax - the fee you pay to the local government for the privilege of operating that particular vehicle. (USA calls it personal property tax [basically anything with wheels tax])

In the UK, car tax and insurance are both legal requirements, along with an MOT certificate which is given out annually when the car is checked by a garage. The tax is supposed to go into a pot to pay for the upkeep of the roads. The insurance is to cover costs in case of an accident or theft of the car.

@@meanqueensuperscrimper8908 In the USA it depends on where you live, if you need your vehicle inspected. In Arizona, it's Phoenix and Tucson Metro Areas, in the rest of the state you don't need them. Being a law-abiding citizen can get complicated.
