The 30-yard lobbed header that Gustavo Hamer beat me with when Watford played Coventry the night before in the Championship is the talk of the ride as I go out around Warwickshire with my mate Tom. He asks me if it compares to that one where Paul Robinson lobbed me when we played Tottenham. Unbelievable, huh! He just had the hump because he said I was late. 😜

Here’s my answer if you’re interested: Best cafe stop definitely G!RO in Esher, staff are super friendly, awesome drinks and scrumptious food. On top of all that they do an amazing job supporting people who are new to cycling.

Go down the lads at the Bear market coffee in Dublin and continue the cycle down by the coast. A whopping 60-70km to earn my cookies for the night. Big Fan from Dublin Ben keep up the content mate!

Got to be Tatton Perk next to Tatton Park in Cheshire. Owners kitted out an old Peugeot camper van into a full barista shack on wheels and opened just before the first lockdown. Still going strong because the man makes a mean flat white! Show him some love when you're in the area next time!

He should do Ride London. If you're 'famous' you get bib no. 1 and start at the front. When I did it in 2017 Olympic gold medal winner Mark Hunter got the no.1 bib. I dropped him on box hill :)

Best coffee stop Velo City, Warren Row, Maidenhead. Great coffee, amazing cakes, comfy leather armchairs, piles of bike Mags😃. Even better now the locals have stopped picking on the cyclists! I'm a cyclist and I live in the Pennines Ben. Loving the channel and your vids mate. There is a cracking cafe called Puddle Ducks at Dunsop Bridge in the Trough of Bowland (Burnley ish) they reckon it's in the centre of England. To be honest there are so many to chose from up and down the country. I have become a Watford FC fan too lol.

When I'm out on my Saturday bike ride I always phone ahead to the Roll Shop in Glasgow it's only 10 minutes from my home so I order a nice healthy fry up girls let me put bike in back shop so I can enjoy the full monty then it's ride home shower then settle down to watch the football results come in

Has to be Cafe Ventoux in Leicestershire. Not only is it named after a great climb, any ride to it sees elevations over 1000m. Managed to bump into the Madison Genesis team on my first visit. Best place for class coffee/food and have really adapted well to the COVID situation. Deffo recommend if you are in town.

For me it has to be the fridge after I hop off my exercise bike I love this place it has some of the greatest snacks for on the go and they even has a couch in the living room. The feeling of standing in front of the fridge for 5 minutes making up my mind on what I want is the best feeling in the world. My exercise bike does not have a computer
