***** maybe because you think since they are famus and ritch they must be doing crazy shit all the time but now that you see them doing normal things you don't feel like your life is boring and shit
My favorite part is 57:00 when Deadmau5 is talking about how some theatre is showing the OG Godzilla movies and Dillon gets all excited and is like "yay we should watch it tonight" - aaaaand crickets, no response. Dillon, quietly: "or not I guess" - we feel you Dillon, we've all been there.
+steve stefkarm you're thinking of Detroit. No, Chicago is the third largest city in the US. It's quite industrious. The winters are so rough on the roads, so potholes and cracks form and the all the traffic wears the roads down, so April is the start of construction season in Chicago.
+Carsten Kuehn Yeah, and that's just in the city alone. Chicagoland has like, at least 8 million people. Traffic sucks. I do ot miss driving on the Kennedy. It takes 90 minutes get somewhere that's only supposed to take 45 minutes. :/
that's your problem. you think they they *have* a filter. most music guys are cool as fuck if you keep it chill. dont loose your shit when you meet them. say hi and be yourself. who knows you might connect.
jack black I meant it's nice to see them be themselves, and not their "Interview selves"; where they have to appear straight-cut and proper. Getter, Spock, Nick, Dillon, Skrillex, Joel, they're all great examples of people who don't give a fuck. I love that trait in them. Also high af rn, so sorry if I seem weird.
I get pissed off at the people who just walk by them as they drive in the car, I would give ANYTHING to catch Dillon, Mau5 and Skrill driving down the street.
***** Agreed. They are good at what they do, but anyone can be with practice. Especially given the fact that there's probably countless other people with more skill who just haven't been lucky enough to get discovered. In the time frame of our earth and the scale of the universe, none of these "legendary people" really matter anyways. People put way too much significance on shit like fame.
+Kappa DongStorm Not really. When it comes to the mainstream, Dillon actually isn't that famous. He's mostly famous to people who listen to Electronic music.
@@gaffenz1137 id say the metal and pop punk scene are worse. yeah edm has a bunch of fucking cry babies but theyre not fucking kids as regularly as the 2 other scenes mentioned. I do know about the whole bass hunter, datsick, and space jesus cases but i've met so many fucked up women not on drugs from the pop punk scene, you can't help but assume all of them were molested or raped at some point from band members.
@@gaffenz1137 it's actually a meme in the scenes because it happens so regularly but what do except when you have 25 + something year olds making music for 16 year old girls. Dont get me wrong I love that music as a guilty pleasure but I refuse to be associated with the scene.
Am I the only one genuinely not feeling the awkward here? Skrillex is obviously pretty shy but that's fine, they seem like good friends to me. No-one has deeply insulted or offended anyone. On a side-note, I've just noticed how much Sonny sounds like Garth from Wayne's World.
Matt Black I called him a tattoo boy. I didnt say he's my boy. So again. You cant read bro..but it's all good...I think 30% of the country cant even read.
Coming back once again to watch this classic... life was good 2 years ago when I came back to comment on this video, and way better in 2014 when I watched it for the first time...
Did anyone notice when they started talking about Justin Bieber and Skrillex was just silent at the back slightly smiling ..... He was working on the Jack Ü album at that time looks interesting to see this after all what happened with Mau5 and Skrillex
Just 3 cool dudes that share the same passion hanging out and having a good time. Not sure why people are calling Deadmau5 an asshole, he is a completely chill down to earth guy keeping the conversation interesting.
Favourite CR Quote: Dylan: So, what else is up guys? Skrillex: The sky, the birds, the bees, the... planes. Dylan: Everything? Skrillex [in sing song]: Everything. Also, their in sync, but very different head bopping at 1:02:45. Lots of love for these boys!
***** yeah, joel has a big mouth. but sonny was like "when people are bullying you for so long you have to stand up for yourself eventually". plus he's been working with bieber a lot lately so I don't know how joel feels about that, since that's what triggered the whole string of mean tweets. they had a nice friendship so hopefully they'll be able to work this out.
they are talking alot about concerts, tours and other artists. They where also talking about deadmau5' new album (which is fucking awesome). So I'm not sure if you paid attention or not..
It's a COFFEE RUN it's just time to bullshit and talk about random stuff, these guys put endless hours into their music. Maybe the same reason you don't come home and talk about your 9-5
Yeah really! There was like one guy who started putting it together. But I think a lot of people just know them for their music and few can easily figure out its them in the car...my assumption.
+'NotherDay 'NotherDollar My feelings on Bieber - it's not his fault that legions of dipshits enjoy his music. He's basically a guy of limited talent who managed to take advantage of those dipshits (I imagine there's ultimately some mastermind producer behind the scenes who created Bieber) and made serious bank in the process. I actually respect his ability to game the system. And hahah at youtube's attempt at writing your screenname in a reply
If I saw the three of you rollin through town with your top down in the middle of the day like this, I would spontaneously combust from sheer joy... I'm actually surprised that car hasn't fucking exploded from the triple awesomeness that's happening within it...
@@Felrock12 What you said. These guys were some of the biggest people in EDM at the time and they're in the middle of downtown Toronto during what looked like rush hour. Also they were with feet or even inches of tons of random people passing by their open convertible, lol. I kept thinking a fan would notice all three of them while they were in traffic and the fan would freak out. Dillon probably was expecting some crazy encounter by a fan who noticed them.
Hi Deadmau5. The guy who yells out Jesus is not f@kd up. He had a tumor removed from his throat a few years ago. The reason why the name of Jesus comes out of him the way it does is because he has to really push it out so that he can be heard in public. He's not trying to scare it in you. He's actually a soft spoken guy and very intelligent to talk to. You should have a coffee run with him. I can arrange it.
Tarrabyte most people who make edm were in punk/metal bands. Seamless is another example, he recorded for metal bands originally. I think it has something to do with making music to please people, and with the transition to edm these people just kinda went with the flow
