2001 996 Porsche Turbo (so no glovebox or cup holder)
Owned for nearly 5 years
Done 32k in my ownership
If anything ever failed i have always replaced with genuine or upgraded parts.
REPLACED PARTS: DO88 intercoolers, race diverter valves, 997 gt3 RS shifter, Bilstien B6 shocks, larger 997 turbo rotors & EBC pads, PCCM+ infotainment system with carplay/android, Markski Tune which ads about 80bhp taking the car to near 500 bhp, 4 stalk stalk unit added with cruise control, upgraded fuel pump.
Several resprayed areas, next one due in August
Wheels refurbished (hollow wheels)
Did not upgrade exhaust because original exhaust sounds good but quiet, and right on the 105 static db track day limit.
BAD BITS:
Air con does not work due to a corroded pipe
Indicator does not self cancel
slight oil leak, has had it for 10 years according to MOT history
ADVICE FOR TURBO OWNERS: check for boost leaks, change plugs & coil pack regularly if you drive it hard.
