He had a month to think that nickname up, though. ...wait no he didn't, he heard future beej use it... ...where's the nickname from then... ...oh no...
No that's the trick hearing himself say it completes the loop. Beej always comes forward in time to hear himself say Meej meaning he always completes the loop by saying it one month later.
@@Ahrpigi - In a parallel universe, Pop Cap Games is famous for their addictive hit _Meejeweled._ LRR is the perfect place for silliness. I'm here to support my fellow fans in all their sillying.
It's the internet not psn. No loading time for you...................unless you live in an area with shit connection. Then all the loading time for you.
@@Wesleygamer1 Loading Time is a video series LRR makes that show behind the scenes stuff. Its like the Crapshoot except instead for just Crapshots, its for all the other things.
"Ah yes, zhe comedians now resort to the lowest form of humor. Zhe meta joke... Zhe fourth wall shatters, like your expectations." - Werner Herzog as played by Alex Steacy; Crapshots Ep509 - The Narrator. But what does he have to say about the dreaded 16th wall break (a fourth wall break in a fourth wall break)? AMAZING stuff guys, thanks for the great content! My expectations were shattered, but in the good way like when you were expecting something pretty good and got something amazingly awesome instead!
True, but during LRL it was TERRIFYING. Especially since Aldermen Against Humanity was the ACTUAL bit they threw to after that segment. I may never recover.
Well let's see, they broke Time and Meta. That sounds more like the 4th dimension and the 4th wall. The 5th wall is when they don't speak to the audience but to each viewer specifically and / or show up in their life. The 6th wall is when they _are_ the viewers. Not when they show an audience of themselves watching but where this post would literally be written by Beej to be seen by other Beejes. If the 7th seal fails the universe hits the entity limit for the number of Beej in existence and reboots, without anyone but the first Beej remembering. There is a theory that this has already happened, and is what Beej refers to when he talks about traveling the light waves.
"What's CommodoreHustle?" Okay, so QUESTION: Would CH-Kathleen know what FridayNights is? Does the CommodoreHustle gang make FridayNights episodes for WotC? Likewise, would FridayNights Kathleen know what CommodoreHustle is? Does the FridayNights crew make episodes of CommodoreHustle?
I imagine that each series of not-quite LRR folk is its own instanced universe, although the FN folk are quite close to the real ones so they might make their own cH. The cH~LRR seems to dumb to have actually gotten official jobs with Wizards of the Coast... though if I'm not mistaken there's an earlier episode in which they mention making money from Magic? That really hurts my canon table
flaetsbnort ah but in the CH universe, WotC had a competition to see who would be the people making their new show. Only the CH team responded, everyone else forgot to hit the submit button :D *insert a short, somewhat complicated or stupid tale here to replace the above*
I think it's pretty simple, just a few plates composited together. The fixed camera means that the inserted clips can be combined easily with fixed masks. You can actually see Adam(?)s hand crossing behind the second plate and partially vanishing at 4:58 when he reacts to Kathleen and puts his arm across the line (watch the orange box). This is why there's a careful line between the cloned people in all of the shots, and they never cross in front of one another.
@@benjaminchung991 And if you go to 7:23 and play it at the slowest speed possible, you can actually see that one part of the shot cuts to black a fraction of a second before the other does.
Not watching any new skits from LoadingReadyRun and watching this one after like 12+ years, there is a lot of difference and a lot to take in The nostalgia is quite fantastic, and it's wonderful to see how far everyone has advanced - granted, I am 5 years late to this video
The composite work with the two Kathleen and two Grahams is amazing, and so well done. Particularly the lighting on Graham in that last shot. Well done! PS Chat- Variety is the spice of life.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out that Beej "riding the dark wave" and Heather "transmuting the coffee of life" was the same incident.
OH MY GOD! How is it, that I'm only just now realizing that Heather's experience in transmuting the Coffee of Life is either a result of Beej getting into trouble with 'The Dark Wave', or (much more likely) what caused that trouble in the first place
I go between being angry at myself for having watched this before LoadingReadyLive that week and missing out on that amazing bit, and then being glad I get to appreciate that follow up joke Graham makes about it not playing as well on the replay. I just love that whole segment!
I am very late to this party but this is the best commodore hustle ever. Not only was it a great script and idea but the execution was top notch. The timing on the edits and the performance of all characters was sublime. There was barely a line I do not consider iconically quotable.
STOP BREAKING THE SPACE TIME CONTINUUM! I have had to deal with a past me, a future me and an octopus version of me that Splatoon did not make me ready for! I don't even drink coffee!
That was amazing!!!!! Best CH EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great script, editing and how did you get the green screen shots to look so good?!? It’s like you’re pros or something ;)
I feel like the solution here was to call in Cameron. But then he might have briefly ascended to another plane of existence, or become a supervillain or something.
Meta-Humour Claxon: *hooooooooonk* Seriously though, this may have become an instant favourite. Graham played hyper-caffeinated!Graham to absolute perfection.
My personal theory is that everyone is experiencing second hand coffee vapors like second hand smoke. So that's why Kathleen was seeing CH and Beej was with Graham in the future.
I love this episode so much. I've watched it at least ten times since it came out. The special effects are all so amazing. I can't wait for the loading time for this one. My favorite by far.
3 years later, and I still have yet to find that hell coffee... Seriously.. If it energizes graham... AND B O Y DID IT, why not... 1. College students 2. Paid Live broadcasters 3. people who work in offices who get paid not enough to do a LOT of work.
Notwithstanding the hilarity of "it's true, she's not, I checked" and the LRL bit, I feel like I need to highlight Graham's amazing delivery on "I'll take 'Bring Da Noize' for 300, Alex."
