My brother owned an almost identical El Camino 20 or so years ago. He bought it for $3,500, drove it for a couple years, then sold it for $5,500. One his biggest regrets! Great content, Dennis! You're a natural presenter!
You're like the Mr. Rogers Neighbor hood of the automotive world.Instead of a sweater in the beginning of the episode you reach for the coffee.PRICELESS!! Nice job buddy!!
Dennis that El Camino is the real gem of the bunch! Back in 1975 we had a red SS396 that we raced on the street! Blew the rear end up a few times but man we had a great time with it!
Found a blade for the 53 Golden Jubilee tractor that was on the family farm in Wapakoneta OH. I got from my cousin in VA. Going to use it to fix the potholes at the warehouse.
Dennis, yep....1964 1/2 is the first Mustang...got one in my garage. My wife has owned it since middle school, so I've known this car almost as long as I've been with my wife.
I realized a few weeks ago that I live in the same area as your store! I will be buying one of your jeeps when the finances allow it! The jeeps in your lot are amazing!
I've seen you on various TV shows and had no clue you had a RU-vid channel so I loved this video and subbed, keep them coming! :) I love 4 eye Mustang's! My first Mustang was a brand new 1985 Notch back LX 5.0 5spd, first year for roller cam, short tube headers, I loved that car.
Dennis there's an abandoned house near the intersection of Piney Green road and Country club road. It's in the back yard it's a beautiful green color brighter than British racing green. It looks to be a Jeep wagoneer or old Cherokee. Please save this Jeep. It's in Jacksonville North Carolina near Camp Lejeune.
Great channel just found it like the facts it's not over produced bs just good solid info and great thoughtful builds I subscribed keep up the good vids
Dennis that 1969 el is super nice love that car,, but I noticed you don't find chevelles much, or odd ball cars , for instance 1973 matador customs street rods . any future finds ?
I love this channel! I just stumbled across Dennis and I love learning about cars and Dennis is such a volume of knowledge. I could sit and drink coffee while listening to him talk for hours! Sub'd
I can’t believe your gonna do a wagoneer/hemi build!! I’ve been wanting to do that with mine. I have a 91 and the original 360 crapped out and that’s what I’ve been wanting to transplant but being a disabled Vet, the budget just isn’t my best friend right now. Don’t know what your looking for exactly but I do have a 77 CJ7 that is for sale. 68k original miles, original engine 3.8 but has had the original 3spd swapped out for a 5spd which has made it much nicer to drive. Have done a huge amount of suspension work this past year and dropped the tank and replaced the sending unit. It has the hard top only. I drive it every few days and it’s never failed me. Unmolested and original condition. It does need paint, previous owner sprayed it army green. I put new BFG 31x10.50x15’s on it this past summer with less than 2k miles since. They are on old aluminum wagon spoke wheels. Let me know if you have any interest and we can get in touch. I’m up in NC about an hour north of the speedway. It does need some work yet but it is a rock solid unmolested CJ. I’m asking $8,500 but have quite a bit more than that invested. I sure hope you will let us follow along on the wagoneer build. I love those and my wife has one and I have one, a 91 and an 88. Your doing the right thing with it. The wagoneer deserves to have some power behind it. Hopefully one day if I have a good year on the farm I can send you our 91 and have you build it, that would be a dream come true Dennis. Thanks for the videos and keep em rolling buddy, stay safe out there brother!
Love coffee walk! I’m so happy to see you still deal in fox body’s (word on the street was you got out of them totally) I restore fox body’s not at your level but I’m working on it! BTW your my hero what you have done for fox body prices!!!!
That's it the argument should be done Dennis called it a truck so the world has to classify the El Camino The Ranchero the GMC Sprint and all the other ones trucks
G’day Dennis, love the show for general information the el Camino is actually a Ute ,short for utility. The difference between a Ute and a truck/ pickup is that a ute’s tray is an integral part of the body in a unibody construction where as a truck/ pickup has a seperate tray attached usually to a frame. Now that I have enlightened you on the difference may I have a challenger red eye as a prize😊. Kind Regards Steve
steve counts because in America you call all utility vehicles trucks does not necessarily make it so, just highlighting the difference. The first Ute in the world was made in Australia by Ford back in the30’s ,an Aussie housewife wrote to ford asking for a vehicle that could take the pigs to market during the week and her and hubby to church on Sunday.
Can't beat a good coffee walk to get my day started , @deniscollins see the stradman is looking for a new JK maybe a nice collab ??? Red eye JK Swap ??
Hey Dennis,,, I prefer classic cars,, Is it truth that in old days manufacturers were more concerned to make a great engine and transmission and now are more concerned to put tech, (Bluetooth, sound, etc). Maybe you can make a video explaining,,, thanks,,!!
Dennis Collins: How does one go about getting ahold of you to see if you have any interest in these vehicles? 1968 Elcamino SS 427/4 speed 12 bolt Black/Black. Original paint and interior. 1970 SS Camaro 396 auto (split bumper) 1969 Chevy Biscayne L-72 427 4 speed. 1970 Chevy Impala Convertible 350/350 Blue/Black also a couple of 1936-1938 Ford 2 and 4 doors. All are rust free Central S.C. cars.
Have a question for you Dennis have a 95 yj want to put new body mounts in but bolts are rusted in is there a way to get them out with out cutting the tub i cant do all that because had back fussed in 4 places can't move all that well any answer or helpful hints would be appreciated thank you in advance
My father in-law has a 84-85 gt350 that he started to restore and had stopped about 7 years ago and now it sits and he wants to sell it. If you want any info I will more then happy to get for you.
i dunno i am i suppose a friend richard........ russ i will be thrilled if you ever go after the stuff that i find if i had known u were into jeeps lemme ask all years and models of jeeps as i see many new jeeps there and a few older ones peppered in the mix umm do any searching in europe for projects as your luck may have it i am in italy for awhile so might be helpfull to you
Why buy a new red eye for almost 80,000 when you can buy a used Hellcat for high 30s?? The Redeye is just barely quicker. And you can keep $40,000 in it wallet.
