I could listen to the two of them for hours and hours. It's so interesting and so funny at the same time. I totally lost it at "GIBSON! Play authentic!" :D Well done Ola.
that moment when you hadn't checked Evanescence since like 2003-2006 and had no clue that there's another girl in that band :D. Very positive and cool guest, had so much fun watching and smile never left my face. thanks, Ola and Jen.
@@jeancaspar5365 They do, Imperfection from 2017 and Hi-Lo from 2018 and there are tons of official videos from their Synthesis Live DVD where she appears, they could've used any of those recent videos
@@higler. I was just stating that there were music videos with Jen not like they did wrong by not putting them and using their most well known song but I was answering they guy in the other comment telling him there are recent videos of this lineup which they could've used but who xar d at the end of the day the interview went pretty well and cool
I'm surprised James was even on the Joe Rogan podcast. He's in his mid 50s with wife and kids, a band almost 40 years old, and all the money a person could want, I'm surprised he bothers to ever leave vacation let alone do regular interviews where people ask the same questions a million times over the years.
ROCKE MOORE yeah, you’re right all of them would be cool but I mentioned Rabea cause he is the most fitting (metal guy) of the Andertons team. (In my opinion)
Here in Europe, "Evanescence" is kind of a dead band but I keep seeing their guitarist everywhere. She's beginning to be more popular than the band she plays ins.
@@iganpparamarta8813 What about them ? It's been a while since I don't follow the power metal scene so I don't know. They were good but I prefer Gamma Ray.
Samuel Martin in my country they are the most famous especially mid 90s because of Time of the Oath. After that album they’re forgotten again. Gamma Ray is awesome.
I love it flirt flirt flirt then ola just drops the wife bomb. man I respect you more for it mate there are so few of us left. one ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind then :)
I need to start a RU-vid channel so I can get Jen to vist... And hey Ibanez get this girl her own guitar already, what’s wrong with you... She’s loyal to your brand and everyone loves her what more do you need, get with it...
I must say this has been so much fun to watch, Jen is so funny!!! When I knew that Jen was leaving to Sweden the first thing I thought was like "Ola buddy, She´is coming for you"
She's fucking great. Love her attitude and honesty. Never heard of her before this video, but I'll be tuning in to her after this vid is done. Can't wait to hear her play.
God shes adorable. Like an excitable little puppy. This is the kind of person that should be teaching - get old and crusty stereotypes thrown out - and her t-shirt underlines this. A real person, ego-less, talented, and alive for the music and passion. Its hard not to smile and laugh watching this.
hmm, the pause after Jen saying 'muddy balls' was a bit too long... i think that's the point where we all started visualizing it... damn you and our f*d up imagination!
She’s so funny and energetic! Very charming. It’s also great to get the perspective of someone from a huge band like that. Probably one of your best guests.
Ola, great video. Jen, really nice to meet you in this video. My take on the Evanescence fan passion is that it's a reflection of your music. Great work by all. Cheers. ;)
Most men look at the body. It's sex and the TNA is eye candy. I get what she wanted to say. See so much would be different if we just listened and respected each other. Women who want the looks dress for it and flaunt. But a woman should be able to dress comfortable. It does get hot performing. Also yes women support each other and we men mostly try to be the best! Something we aren't. Just be yourself and enjoy it. Jen if you see this good luck, best wishes and rock on. Yes she is amazing in every way.
Don’t ever not, be YOU, male or female. As a man I would hope all men, would be who cares, she’s fucking great player and no more bs. All players are players and if you can only play one note or ten thousand, you are a musician, no better no worse!!!,
...and now imagine beeing a bass player, used to have the punch, the air pressure that makes your trousers flapp- and then you have to change to in ears..... I fucking have to have a cab on stage. I have to.
is Jen related to the count from sesame street? she can control the thunder! Is that taught at the viking guitar camp???? lighting lesson available from her or is she the Magic Majura :)
I love love love Jen. She is such a great guitarist and an inspiration. And only a quality stalker can come in to your house and smile as beautiful as she does.
I completely agree with Jen's viewpoint on not limiting yourself as a song writer. For that matter don't limit yourself by anything in your expertise. Poetry, singing, race car driving. Be creative.
I honestly thought Ola was trolling her by inserting some random 90's nu metal pop band when he introduced her, haha... then I googled and apparently that's actually the band she's in. She seems cool though.
Jennifer is so underrated, some of my “heavyfriends” dont even know her and I constantly tell them what they are missing. Ola comparing her to Satriani got me laughing but then i thought about it and realized that he was spot-on. She is multi-talented and go that extra mile to get it just how SHE want it to be. Looking forward to the third release, keep rocking🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great episode of thunder time with Ola. I don't think I've ever seen an interview with Jen Majura that was not fun. Check the length of your hair in case she has taken some :-) One of those likes is mine.
Had the privilege of having a coffee with Jen a few days after she was announced as the Evanescence guitarist at FGC a few years back (I think we were the last FGCampers in Gothenburg), and I must say she seems to have basically adopted IA's way of speaking English haha
