Fishing a productive rock ledge near coffin bay south Australia. Our main target species was snapper but we only mange a few eagle rays along with plenty of salmon trout and tommies.

yes brah more snapper fishing please! All i chase these days. Being in south australia bet you get some good ones? Where im at 20lb is considered to be a once on a life time fish. My best is 6kg off of the rocks

Yeah man its heaps of fun chasing them, I've got a couple 8kg reds off the rocks before but the rest of mine have been out in the boat

The reel is a shimano Saragossa 8000 and the rod is a penn prevail 8-12kg line rating

We use head straps mate I got mine with my gopro but you can buy them separately as well

Amazing how none of our states in this country can agree on anything hey. Like king George Whiting in south aus size is 32cm but 30cm in Victoria. I reckon west Australian salmon should be released cos they're much better to catch than eat but around port Lincoln and coffin bay people use them for tuna and shark bait.
