Depends on your circle of friends and where you live, but I definitely know what you mean. Where I'm at, no one knows who Coheed is. Which is a shame because they have literally and figuratively changed my life and who I am as a person.

There's a certain purity and innocence in not being an obsessive fan, you know? You don't gotta know all the words to every song to know you love the music, and sometimes just *feeling* it without being obligated to participate is better than singing along!

Honestly I love listening to music, but simply have never been able to memorise lyrics like everyone else seems to. I simply can't do it. It's nice when other fans can appreciate that and just enjoy the show.

Some greatest songs of theirs; in keeping secrets of silent earth , domino the destitute, the willing well I ii and iii, ten speed of gods blood and burial, everything evil, and…deep cut choice, in the flame of error. I’m sure many will agree, but, either way, as a musician myself, this band has a lot to offer whether you’re a musician too, or into their storyline and comics, into the lyrics and making them fit into your own life, or just dig their incredible undeniable groove! Same thing happened for me when my first son was born. I went out into the hallway to and my little brother was pacing up and down the hall and as soon as he asked "is he born yet?" The water works turn on. It's the weirdest feeling because you have literally no control over it and you don't see it coming at all. Haha

I honestly think that since he came back to the band, Josh treats every day as a gift and doesn't take it for granted.
