A favor house Atlantic... That first verse, you can't get any better than that. Great singing, distorted guitar and a great driving rock beat with a piercing bell ride from the drummer. 👌👏
Not much has changed my life but these guys have, I don't toss the genius about much, but the concept, the songs, graphic novels. Claudio Sanchez is a legit genius. Also an experience live.
I agree he's a phenomenal drummer, but so was his replacement Chris Pennie. Ever listened to Dillinger Escape Plan - Calculating Infinity? Lol. I think it's just a question of technicality vs groove/funk which Josh has a lot of.
@@SophiaAphroditethat it isn't overpowering the other instruments, the set up itself is so nice. Sometimes in live performances it's hard to get it to sound balanced. Especially indoors, in my opinion.
All in all ,the whole band in this live recording ( in a big Studio 😉) is Mixed and tuned perfectly! You can hear every Detail and however it sounds so fat and poweful!! Also No disturbing publicum ...for full enjoy of Listening
Everything about this is so ridiculously good. This is the video that made me a real fan of the band. I love the albums. But they sound so much better live.
Probably the best version of Everything Evil in existence! They killed it on this performance. So tight! Great production. You must listen to this through studio monitors. Its so dang clean and loud.
This is the performance that got me into C&C, back in 2018. I was doing dishes and whatever I had on youtube in the living room ended; this then started randomly playing. Halfway through A Favour House, I was sitting on the couch intrigued, and the rest is history. My only gripe is that they didn't play In Keeping Secrets. And yes, hall of fame performance of EE!!
This is actually from late '14 early '15 when it was new & premeired on Audience, but either way that doesn't change anything. Theres so many tracks that I could say they should've done, but the best live version of IKSOSE3 (at least available on dvd or RU-vid) would be their Live from Starland Ballroom show & release. After that im sure some of the performances from their multi-night Neverender Tour are damn good too. Just a great live band overall but their early stuff is on another level with original members, younger voice, etc. So watch that/those for IKSOSE3
Easily one of the best bands of the last 20 years. This line-up kills. Not only have they taken the audio and visual artistry of concept albums to new heights but the lyrical style of their melodies and harmonies always impressed the shit out of me compared to the guttural growling and "scream" singing more common to the power-chord genres.
It's a reassuring feeling to know the answer to: Who are the best band to ever exist, since the dawn of time itself and who will continue to hold this title until the final breath of the universe gently utters "We'll have you home pretty soon".
Watching them in Atlanta last May was life changing. It blew my mind. Josh was so in the pocket it was insane. Knowing everything Josh went through, seeing him doing well and happy is wonderful. I’ve never been at another concert where every person in the crowd and every member of the band were just so happy to be there. The love in that room was palpable. I’ve gone through some serious shit and depression in my life. But it’s experiences like that concert that remind me life is worth living.
Josh's percussion style has always been THEE perfect fit for CO&CA. That being said, I had a tough time getting used to Zack's voice, Todd was a better backing vocalist, albeit a junkie.
Neverender version is the best as the crowd mixed with the performance is great and the imprompt solo as the tempo speeds back up is just awesome. But this is still insanely impressive and the sound quality is beyond great.
Have seen them live a few times. Whoever their sound engineer is better be getting paid well lol. One of the best bands I've seen live. Every time they have been great.
The other replies are right, sound engineers are a whole other monster. But I think a lot of it is that it's a relaxed environment. They're not all over the stage entertaining, just playing their music ya know? Like a jam sesh.
oh shit, so the recording studio allowed Claudio to hit those high notes. That is comforting to someone who is tryna reach their range, but feels more of a baritone.
Why no Blood Red Summer? I always thought that was one of their main big hits. Also The Suffering. They do sound absolutely phenomenal though. That lead singer's voice has aged so good.
