After 3k hours in 7 years super casual tbh I just realize Digital Extremes is like a group on friends having fun making a fun game while smoking some weed I've never seen a community so charming.

Super quick lore summery. Basically the main antagonist Dr.Entrati has the ability to travel through time . He took the Warframe technology from the current game timeline, went back to the year 1999 (Which is seemingly where the infestation virus began), and made his own version of Warframe's known as proto frames. He basically made an alt timeline to oversimplify it.

The infested are infected by the technocyte parasite. Techrot is absolutely synonymous with the Infested. And it looks like the new liches are related to the 1999 strain Entrati seems to be responsible for.

1:09:37 rewatching this again, I had the following thought: Reb said you can “romance” people in this mode, even Arthur. Which would not really make sense if we were playing Arthur the whole time in 1999. What’s possible is that the puking infestation we see is not corrupted man-in-the-wall Albrecht’s techrot but Helminth, who, because he is part of the infestation himself, is able to transport our character into 1999. So it’s not specifically Excal that we see here - cause they probably used Excal for the cinematic value and to not give the surprise away. I’d wager your equipped frame would appear in this scene and that we enter 1999 “fighting” Arthur because Arthur thinks we’re one of evil Albrecht’s cronies. Notice that we don’t go back to controlling Arthur after this. I think it’s cause at this stage we’d be piloting our own frames.

Cohh that excalibur was us.. In every trailer / gameplay showcase if there is an Excalibur it's the player, that's always how it's been. And u probably forgot it, at the end of the whispers in the wall Entrati says we are late, then Loid says we were late the Indifference got him before we did so next time we shouldn't be late. So this is the next time.

Fun fact: Enferon was a poison used by enemies in the Dark Sector game against Technocyte infested organisms. (Like Tenno)

When people was talking about infested Liches, i was expect something from Arlo on Eris......but we got.....Infested strain, boysband from alternate universe 🤣

The Proto-Frames are the newest Frames to be made even though they are the earliest in the timeline. This is because Albretch Entrati took Ballas' designs with him back to 1999. The Proto-Frames are not the originals nor should they even exist as it is on the normal timeline, but Entrati has changed that.

I just jumped back into warframe and idk why I ever left 😭

They are called proto warfames/weapons because if they really are connecting the universes they were experimenting with powerful new technology in the 90s that caused the infested and the tech for the prototypes of warfames and guns we have now (unfortunately they were denied making dark sector the prologue game originally). Now all they need to do explain how the universe went from 99 to the present, and what Entranti and us time traveling back is going to do.

Every TENNOCON I have the same wish that I liked this game. I really love their community engagement so much

I did a capture just earlier today and got a relic with Acceltra and Akarius, pretty sure that means Gauss Prime can still be farmed directly! I had super bad luck trying to get normal Gauss without a pity mechanic, hyped to start cracking relics some of those relics soon... I might just farm some more to be safe as I'm sure this will forever be a popular frame anyway, dupes to make friends happy or sell/trade are never a bad thing. Sitting on like 100 things to sell cause that's not really where my limited play-time goes, but still, even if it's just to look at my glorious dupes.

really hope for a cuda/on-lyne bubonico cause one of those liches seemed to have the fiddler crab bodyshape of one massive maybe shield arm and then the tiny hand plugs into the bubonico arm canon

i love warframe but in the middle to end game is kill everying even if you dont see it, i wish it was slow like soulframe looks like it will be or 1999 speed is, i played warframe since the start cant keep with the speed xD im old
