It’s about time the construction on State street is done. I literally live behind the Federal Building ,Kevin. Thank you for the tour……..Happy Holidays Kevin and Gang…..
Ya dude don't worry about going camping all the time, these walk throughs of the city and your knowledge of it is good content as well. Keep up with the good content brother
Loved this video! And WOW!...your city is covered in construction like my city. As a 45 year resident of Las Vegas I believe our new state flower should be the orange construction cone😂Thanks Kevin!
I miss the WXXI auction! I used to bid on a lot of stuff every year! I used to love sitting in front of the TV for hours on end, listening to the descriptions of the items and seeing the hustle and bustle of the volunteers in the background. It was so much more personal when you would have to actually call on the phone and give the operator my bidder number, then watching them change the current bid on live TV! Once it went online it wasn't the same. I'm pretty sure everyone else felt that way as well, since it lost popularity and was discontinued after 2017, or somewhere around there. So depressing! I really hate getting older. However, I do really enjoy your videos, Kevin! I'm a long way from Rochester these days, but it's great to see it through your eyes. I love watching your videos and seeing all the places that I recognize! I love the channel! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for giving us a little tour of your 'hood. I live in NYC and always wanted to visit Rochester but never had the chance. But, you did that for me. I hope to see you with Sam Bananas soon!
I love the camping video's and I love the Rochester tour video's as well. I would be interested in seeing some more of the east side, maybe Andrews St. or by the Liberty Pole, or around the Eastman Theatre. Great job! Save the Pee Tunnel :)
Nice little jaunt through Rochester. Like a mini vacation. Without the hassle of the airport, the renting of the vehicle, and the cold. Thanks from Southern California!
I love these city walk videos. I watch ton of them and it's always interesting to see things that some tourism board might omit for one reason or another. You get a real sense of the city. I mean, you'd never see the illustrious pee tunnel on the official Rochester youtube channel.
Keep on coming, I always enjoy and I don't normally come in. I get 75 channels I'm subscribed to and we probably watch over a 100 more that we don't subscribe to but I. Enjoy your humor in content really appreciate it
The weather is better than normal for late fall. I took my mom to High Falls once and she loved it and the comment was 'Way isn't there anything around it?' and that explains Rochester perfectly. Their plan for the bridge looks terrible[ stupid plant pots, benches and just a bad layout], which isn't shocking for government planning.
I disagree, I think the bridge plan looks pretty decent... And actually, they're currently in the process of cleaning up the gorge from old industrial stuff, and turning it into a state park, which will be awesome! Probably like 3 or more years away tho
I love this kind of video, especially as someone from the UK because it gives that real street level glimpse into America. One thing I can feel though is the cold! It's an early morning -6 here (celsius) which Google suggests is around 20F.
I was wondering how much snow you ended up with? We got about 1/8 inch. But it's been a balmy 10°F or less the past few days. Looking forward to falling asleep to this one, but you know me, I'll get through it before next Tuesday!
I wish I could have seen you when I cycled through your fair city but alas I had to keep plowing through and you had just put out a video about how individual meet ups were overwhelming and I respect that feeling.
thanks for the city view video. You are the best representative/ambassador for the city. Hopefully I can get up there and see the city with the audio guide by Kevin himself.
nice - you were getting towards the end there with no sign of the subterranean urinary passage but you came through! Look like quite a bit is going on downtown there, nice to see.
You walked by the best pizza joint in Rochester, you’ve got to go in and have a few slices and a beer so we can see it. I remember the place where they served the garbage plate.
Ive been here since like 2k or less subs and i cant believe ive never mentioned it in a comment. i have horrible issues with my knees and i wear these cloth sleeves called Tubi-Grip in my daily life that help me immensely after 3 knee surgeries. obviously they might not be the best for camping bc they are cloth but in your daily life i highly recommend it. you have the “quick drying pants” so it may help! thank you for years of making me consume my nights with your videos.
or McConnell taping on your knee. it holds the kneecap in a set position and helps with stability. it worked wonders for me after using it during my later years of sports when my knees were going (at 17 years old)
@5:01 Kevin sees a possible stealth location. @10:48 How did I know you were talking about the Pee Tunnel😂. I always enjoy your strolls through the city.
What’s up Kevin ? I have favorite campers and you are one of them . Where are the camping videos? Don’t leave me hanging.I am ready to see one …let me know something
I have a buddy that lives there half the year, and, the rest, down here in The South Carolina Lowcountry.( I love to tell him how much I have learned about his City through you)
As someone who spent 30 years in one small town and then moved to, somehow, an even smaller one... I've always appreciated videos like this, where it's just someone hanging out in a bigger city than I've ever lived in, lookin' around and seein' what's up. Actually subbed to a channel that is nothing but walking-around-places. My favorites are the rainy night walks. There's just something magical to me about a large city at night. Getting out when it's raining or snowing is fun, since you know the only other people doing that have a _reason_ to be out there. Everyone else is in an office or bundled up at home. Sometimes it's nice breathing the crisp, cold air and seeing what your home looks like when the weather's not perfect.
No worries red! I've just been insanely busy with work before the end of the year, and feel really guilty I haven't been able to post. I'm planning on a video for this coming Tuesday!
Kevin, I’m sure you know this, but did you know bubble wrap is originally from Rochester? I love your cities past my friend… I’d love to talk more with you
I have a couple questions number one what is that tall tower that has like the cat or bat ears on it. Second if you would change it from the pee tunnel to space kitty tunnel then maybe you can get you know some help from space kitty. Just a couple of stupid ideas for a stupid idea and one question so there you go.
