my friend roy payne has. been a great singer for many years.also eddy coffee and my other great friend dick nolan were great singers. and my great friends jenny and josie. loved listening to all of them at the caroletta in toronto and the holiday inn in Brampton and the newfoundland club in cambridge.i truly enjoyed their music over the years. im from corner Brook but ive been living in hamilton ont. for several years. i wish everyone.merry xmas and hope every has a great new year
Mr Wicksw, Jenny and Josie recorded a CD called "All Mixed up", not sure if you have it or not but the 2nd song on side 2 is a song called "Fisherman's Disaster"..Sir, I wrote that song in 1989. A friend of mine origionally from here, Fred Toope, who now live in Brampton/Bramalee sent the song up to them and they recorded it on their cassette.. Just thought I would let you know.. I'm from Cape Breton, was introduced to Newfie music by Mary Stoyles and Gord Warren two of my favourite people. My mother was a Blackmore from Newfoundland so the East is in my blood and I love the music!!!
