My heart just broke for both of them, and their father. My God, I just... My fave episode. It's devastating as I do believe the three of them loved each other. It was just a stupid, sad, out of control, horrible moment of everything exploding for Grant. Poor, poor Maurice. :( So sweet and vulnerable... I always cry watching this.
The dad paid the price for favoring one son over the other: he lost them both. Moral of the story: If you play favorites among your children, then you're gonna pay for it long after you die.
I completely agree. This was mostly the dad‘s fault for favoring one of his sons over the other. You never ever play favorites when it comes to having more than one kid. If you do there will be a price to pay for it in real life and in death.
That's messed up, dude. Though for what it's worth, the older brother growing up to be some kind of creepy washout was some kind of something he had coming, along with finally getting arrested.
In my situation, I moved out and far away. I survived and thrived out here on the west coast. Married, with a child, and a 30-year mortgage. Meanwhile, my bachelor older brother was finally kicked out at 37.
This is what a uncontrollable temper can do. He finally came to his senses. But unfortunately by the time he did was to late he had a truck his brother with a fatal blow
I remember when this episode aired i actually ruled the brother out of being the killer since he had a broken leg. Before he broke his leg, he was my number 1 suspect. Hey, it's usually the brother who does it. Anyway, I figured it'd be hard for him to do that crime with a broken leg then hid the body.
i still dont get why the brother killed him? was it because he didnt want to hear about the dancing? or because Maurice was telling him not to quit and that got him angry? or tht was the only way to get out of wrestling and dad would still love him and didnt want his dad to find out? please REPLY!
TheMightyZack Because Maurice was taking all the attention away from their father, who Grant felt like he needed the approval of since their mother died in 1982, I think the episode mentioned.
He got an anger crisis. Basically you go insane for a short time until you do something really stupid and makes you react. Usually when it is too late.
Well, I agree you should be more respectful, but there's no need to be such a tool and have your asinine comments ruin the experience for a lot of us here. I'm guessing you're that 1 dislike, so go somewhere else, will ya?
In my opinion I blame the dad for all of this he favored only one of his sons over the other and then did it vice versa. When you’re a parent to more than one kid you never play favorites ever. Otherwise, it will lead to stuff like this. But I do have to put some of the blame on Maurice too when he was trying to comfort grant about being angry about the wrestling thing he pointed the conversation just back to himself, and I must say that was selfish. You shouldn’t say something like that to someone. Another thing I do have to say when Maurice was trying to complement and make Grant feel better he should’ve kept it focused towards his brother, and instead he pointed the conversation back to himself, which is totally selfish if he had not done that Grant wouldn’t have lost it and killed him so in some ways Maurice is also responsible for his own death.
Why the older brother murdered the younger brother in the first? Then second in Chinatown, how can the older brother murdered the younger brother in 1983?!
I really hate that guy Grant! Awful person. I love Maurice! He is in other things too. Google what else he has been in. Then watch.😮❤ Maurice Hall was played by, Nathan Halliday. He really is a dancer in real life.
