I just recently finished the series. Regretfully finished. It was a great show, I will never understand why it ended this way…we’ll probably never be heard when we ask for ppl to bring it back…
Hopefully this show makes a comeback. This ending didn’t give the show the proper justice it deserved. Please make a return, even if it’s for one more season.

Probably this is one of the few progeammes that could be back after some years and be succesful again, cuz in real life....there will be always Cold Cases to be closed.....

This ended up being so haunting and bittersweet. I don't think TPTB knew it was going to be cancelled, because they included a LOT of threads this season that would have been very interesting to follow up with the next year.
Lilly and Scotty should have been together in the end. It's a shame because throughout the show he had relationships with many women but never really fell in love and she dated guys who always left her 😮
I like the relationship between Lily and Scotty. They are coworkers but still managed to have a real friendship. And Scotty is very helpful and caring.
A few of us are trying to write a few more cases. The first one has the squad reopening a murder case of a retired CIA agent in the early 90's, and also follows up on what happened with Scotty, Christina, Doherty, and if Lilly decides to join the FBI or not.
There was closure for all of the main characters by the end of season 7: Nick Vera got a second chance at love with his high school sweetheart; Scotty Valens found a way to get rid of the serial rapist who made his Mom a victim, which also showed her moving past it by allowing her husband to touch her again; Will Jeffries heads towards retirement by closing a case that haunted him for 16 years, while John Stillman finally gets Deputy Commissioner Doherty off him & his unit's back for good in the process; & finally Lily Rush gets a chance to completely heal things with her family (after having done so with her father) by helping her younger sister, who she learns was sincerely trying to go straight for herself, & for her baby girl....
Watching this again as it just came on HBO! Didn't realize then how frustrating Lily's character was even up until the last season when I watched it when I was younger.
Eu comcordo um pouco com você, mas, de certo modo, acredito que o final tenha sido muito bom por mostrar o que a série sempre nos entregava, um caso sendo resovido de manera incrível, apenas mais um caso, sem criar um evento grandioso ou algo que fugisse do comum. Mas eu queria queria saber se a Lilly Rush vai para o FBI.
I actually didn't like this last episode. There was no emotional connection to the victim because there was no backstory. This episode made me feel like I was missing something
If I could nitpick on this episode, the mother should have seen the daughter. Even with that great episode and show. I would think this show was expensive to produce, especially when they go back into the 60 & 70's. Many many great episodes but I thought "Beautiful Little Fool" was the best one. Its was S3E19 and it was took place in 1929 and the wardrobe, scenery, and acting was fantastic.
@@dreamcage1801maybe it was part of it but also they both were to afraid to risk it and were complex and damaged characters with a lot baggage but working together they started to heal maybe when they stopped working together they started samething I hope lilly and Scott faund eatch other after all the heartbreaks they suffered

Não foi um final onde houvesse um acontecimento estrondoso que fugisse do convencional, e isso para mim fez com que o final fosse perfeito, só mais um caso e solucionado com perfeição. Eu achei perfeito, e essa música fechou essas 7 temporadas com chave de ouro.
Decidir rever todos os episódios agora... E vou chegar na sétima temporada ainda essa semana. Quando eu ver esse final no último episódio, vou entender a dor.
@sciencenerd121 Nope. They never got together. Someone could see L/S hints every now and then when at the same time someone else couldn't see anything... So we never really did know the level of this relationship except the last episodes when the writers let us see that they had a close friendship. That's all.
I think you can see all of the episodes on Dailymotion albeit you will have to deal with ads, poorer quality and sometimes the voices sound funny and high pitch due to the videos trying to avoid the censors from deleting them.
How did this rumour surface? I had a look around in sites and I did not find anything. Practically it is too unlikely to see something like this happen however. Pino joined SVU and I'm guessing the others also moved on.

Io adoro questo telefilm ma non condivido per niente il finale dell'intera serie. Un finale bello sarebbe stato se l'archivio dei casi irrisolti avesse preso fuoco, o se fossero stati tutti uccisi, insomma qualcosa che indichi una fine DEFINITIVA. Questo sembra solo il finale di una comune stagione...
@@rachelwalsh6116 Its not his baby. The time line is wrong. And I think he was really into Lily, not Cristina. Reference at the end when they had the fight. " go back and take that job etc. " I think he just thought he couldnt have Lily. Also the way he looked at her in the rear view mirror at the end. They were going to reboot it at one time but it would have cost too much for the music. They would have to pay all of the different singers for just playing their songs once. I read that somewhere a couple of years ago. But Im with you guys I also loved the show. I would love to see it come back. The crap on television nowadays is garbage. I watch two shows a week, thats it. So I started watching the classic game shows that came back. Never remember them being so funny. Match Game. Tattletales and Password. Never liked some of the celebrities on those games shows until I started watching them again. They are really hilarious. Except the one I cant stand. Brett Summers on Match Game. Now she really gets on my nerves. Her sense of humor is terrible.
