I agree, you have one police chief hugging you for finding 2 kids and others that seem so offended they want to arrest you. Unbelievable how completely unprofessional some cops are. I suspect you really embarrass some jurisdictions that have invested millions in equipment and they don’t know how to use it.

The tow truck operator and every police officer should have known not to be in the kill zone of that cable. That was dangerous as hell. Did they ever thank you for finding it for them? The phone really did have excellent zoom! Way to go guys! You rock!

Jeremy everybody wins some and loses some. In this case the police and tow service lost some when they didn't allow Adam to hook up the car. If he had done it I do believe it would have been done right the first time and the chain wouldn't have snapped. In any case the car is out of the water and no longer polluting the water. I watching another channel that had divers looking for a man in his truck . Found the truck and man but when law showed up they Said they didn't want them involved and sent them on their way. Told them not to film them Taking the truck out. The cops were rude . Took all the glory. Pretty much said go away after they did the work for them .

@@trapperjohn6089 I'm a Hoosier, but I'm not from Anderson... still, sounds about right. Police forces in the bigger urban areas in this state are pretty lazy when it comes to actually doing the work. Smaller cities, like the one I'm in (Lafayette), they'll actually put in the work. That's at least what I've noticed just from watching AWP, too.

Jeremy, I understand the frustration on Adam's and your part. But please tap the brakes a moment on pulling cars first and then calling authorities, lets just say it is truly a crime scene. That pull turned into such a cluster fu*k. Those good ole boys definitely needed the training and more of it. Became comical at how long it took them to get staged then they kept breaking chains. Whole town showing up was a hoot also.

You found a car which is great and how many times does a dive team get to do a recovery and you were willing to assist if needed. How many times have you both been able to video a removal as somebody is always in the water. Vehicle is out of the river which is a Win Win . Great job guys.

Sometimes they are using these times for training while it sucks for you. But the liability is if they say yes go ahead and you get hurt. Just have patience and next time is better. Keep in mind if you pull a vehicle and it's involved with foul play there could be problems. You two are doing great work, keep your heads up it's just one city and set of officers.

You guys are doing a great job with Search and Recovering! I would worry about the What If Scenarios with you getting the vehicle out of the water on your own! The police officers can be a real pain in the rear when it comes to their investigation! A lot of things to Consider! Anyway, was wondering if you got your Magnet back from the police?

Did you figure out what the other object was? If the car was stolen, probably part of the issue there since they have a dive team. You have bigger fish to fry. Good luck on your search for the guys.

Jeremy, I'm a big fan and understand your frustration with red tape, but if you act alone in a recovery and evidence of a crime is lost during your recovery operation, the police could get pissed and your and AWP's reputations might get tarnished in the process. Nug, do y'all ever think when people of these men''s age go missing without a trace that they might be in witness protection? When they go into that program it's like they left the planet. They can't even tell their family what's going on and the police either aren't told or they have to act like the case has gone cold. I know y'all along with AWP and Chaos have a great success rate but I was just wondering if that's ever crossed your mind?

Someone in their life would be able to hint that they were a state or federal witness to a crime. People do go into witness protection and cant tell family. But 99% of the time friends/family have an idea thats what happened.
