That’s true. Especially I have seen Gurkha rescuing many vehicles last 2-3 days. Will share when I have good network. Also I guess it also depends on the driver skills 😀 I cannot do those skids to be honest.

If its snowing u can start any diesel vehicle be it minus 30 or at any temp below zero. But once the sky gets clear the next morning will b like hell for diesel cars 🥶🥶🥶 little advice 👉🏻 We ladakhi's in such condition keep 20 liters of fuel canister at home incase of an emergency we pre heat the 20 liters of fuel can on stove and then pore it in the tank problem solved 😉👍🏻👍🏻

Hi, thanks for the tip. Yes experienced something similar, when snowing though the temperatures were sub zero it was manageable but when there is no snow and sun it out, it felt horrible. This is amazing agar ek heater pe gari eise start ho jaye. To answer Prashant Sir's question on whether keeping a vehicle with the engine idling for very long is advisable or not, the workings of a vehicle cooling system is based on the ram air-flow technology on the radiator which doesn't happen if the vehicle is standing still so it may require the fan to work more, etc. Not applicable in such temp. Personally, I live in the plains where we never see such temps and I start moving the vehicle once the temp meter needle starts moving and I don't push the engine till it reaches operating temp i.e., the highest point the temp meter needle reaches in the meter.

You are very true on this. I cannot use mobile with gloves on, and it was very cold for long recording. Hands very fozen 😀 Thar Petrol AT is travelling with us. Will check with them once for first hand experience in these challenging situations and share shortly.

Please give a feedback to force motors about its low ground clearance. Force kargo king ground clearance 239 mm. But on the other hand hardcore off roader gurkha offered only 205 mm.

Yeah they are truly class vehicles and very popular on all Hilly and mountain terrain. Also they are driving without any great tyres and snow chains too 😀 but there could be many other factors like weight, petrol/diesel etc etc. (I am not into automobiles so don’t know much internal details)

Gurkha troops were destroyed in Surabaya 1945, in fact there were some Muslim Gurkha soldiers who defected to the Republic of Indonesia, especially from the Indian Division, led by Zia Ul Haq (Muslim India = Pakistan in that time)

I have two options 4*4 without diff locks and 4*2 with rear diff locks Which one is better

I think there could be many other considerations like cost, requirement etc etc 4x4 always better, you can always add a locker. 4x4 gets better transfer case which 4x2 May not get. But my knowledge is limited on this.

May be it would have started directly (not sure), but it’s better way to heat it up before start after staying idle in such snow and cold temperatures all night. Based on temperatures I see sometimes heater is on and off multiple times before start.

@@heatofvolcano I did had multiple issues before with my new Gurkha and recently they fixed it. After that I see performance is amazing even at every toughest terrains like HIKKIM in Spiti valley or western ghats. I do not see any lag now.

Yeah pipes and coolant was checked before and everything was normal. And I am not sure if there is any guidance officially from Force on number of times heater should be used.

Yeah diesel Thars have some issues but petrol Thar it was fine. For for gurkha it only have diesel option but yet it was starting very nicely even at -22.

@@StudiousWanderer yep I am doing solo Spiti from 2013 done 6 times when I start in 2013 people in kaza very surprised to see me this Spiti ride mainly start after 2017 and I struggled every time with Diesel engine 🚂 Parshant bhai is friend of mine nice vlog keep it up 👍 bro I have also small RU-vid channel grace family vlogs RU-vid ❤️ visit and if u like subscribe ❤️
