Cold Starting a Stihl MS250 After Not Using It For Years

I'm trying to get set up to cut some trees that have grown in a pasture I want to use for hay. I need a backup chainsaw. I tried to cold start my Stihl MS250 after not using it for years. This video shows what happened when it wouldn't start for me.

Change fuel filter in-tank changed air filter change plug and then change carburetor still won't start what else can I try Stihl 250

Sounds like you've done a lot of good work. Without being there to look at it in person I have no recommendation. Might be time to take it to someone. Sure sounds like you've given it a good go though. Sorry not to be of any help.

@@FredSelf thanks I know you're right it's time to take it to someone but when I do they'll have it for 5 minutes and fix the problem that was right in front of me

I understand the feeling! That has happened to me more than once. That's one reason I started making these videos. So I'd have a catalog of all the things I had already fixed and how and wouldn't have to try and figure it out again or take it to somebody with more experience than me. I'd like to hear what it ends up being if you have the time to tell me one day.

goldminner3 did you ever get it sorted? I’m going crazy trying to figure out why my ms250 won’t start...it was running so well the day before, now today it suddenly won’t fire or burp at all no matter what I try.
