Cold Starting School bus fleet 

Love the FS-65, my first bus at my old district was a 04 FS-65 with a 5.9 as well. My current district just got rid of our last FS-65, 2000 with a MBE, had been sitting since March 2020

That 04 said cold? Haha hold my glow plugs

Im not sure why the newer trucks start so quickly in the cold. I think they have grid heaters instead of glowplugs so perhaps thats why but it still never ceases to amaze me how they start up like any gas powered vehicle does in the cold. I was also amazed how quick that second old freightliner started up after the plugs cycled, that thing was taken really good care of!

Did that first bus have a small caterpillar in it? It started like it did.
