I spent 6 years in the U.S. Army in Germany in the 1970's. I served in Armor and Cavalry and trained frequently with the Dutch, Canadian and British Armies in Northern Germany. I have to say I had the time of my life. All three armies were very professional and a joy and honor to train with. If me and my cohorts went to town for some beers and bratwurst and the British soldiers saw us they would always pick up our tab. When we trained with the Canadians they always found a way to throw a party feeding us steak and baked potatoes. I remember many nights at the Gastehouse drinking with these comrades in arms and have many fond memories. I am 68 years old now and remember well flying through the countryside in an armored vehivle side by side with my NATO cousins!!! WE WON THE COLD WAR!!!!
Dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother for the last couple of days :)
I've literally just stumbled upon your channel (Congo mercenaries) and I'm stunned. I dislike war and violence immensely but somehow your stuff lures me in. Dozens of relevant clips and combined with very good music. Even this one with it's flowing soundtrack. I really hope you keep going with this. Not that I want wars - more because somehow you make something damned good from pieces of badness and rot. Subscribed.
Couldn’t have said it better. The music makes the history of the worlds recent conflicts even more interesting to the casual mind. This wave is pretty cool
Having some experience with the G3, its amazes me to see people exiting APCs with FALs(I beg your pardon SLRs ;) with bayonets! Hard to move without stabbing someone or getting stuck on interior :P
Well i mean the soviet union broke up because they couldnt afford it, it would never have come to a point were the west would have gone bankrupt because they Communists states would all have collapsed way before.
Being a brit there was a time i had full respect for our army its officers nco's and other ranks, from boys to men is what they made of us we were ready and able to take on the full might of the soviet union and save europe from another communist takeover or at least that was ingrained, i doubt todays british army could do the same as all i have seen it do is put down a few ragheads i dont dispute the bravery and commitment of the ordinary soldier and nco's but the offices especially the higher ups and the goverment officials have turned a once proud army of men into a washing basket full of loose ends not only that the army has been downsized to ridiculous levels that couldnt form a division if it tried, i never thought i would see the day the british army broke itself. i am against war but the british army has a proud tradition of being the best, where did that go, love to all squaddies wherever you are.
@@Itgetsbetterofficial he promised to us that. it's beenalmstg a year that he told us he is gonna do first and second war. i was expected to go war in II Karabakh war. unfortunately for us war ended too soon, thanks to American Drone technology

@formal frog with an aks-74u Yes and no, remember that the war was not started by the people, it was started by a dictatorship in order to cover up the mistakes they made. And the Falklands (as you call them) They are legitimately from Argentina if you learn history you will see that we have every right to make the claim since it was the English who illegally expelled the natives and the Argentine governor
