Cold War Survival Day One - So Many New Updates Looks Like A New Game 

So, how many people were screaming "find her stuff and craft her a _simple_ first aid kit?" GE, you're a great guy but good Lord you miss the _painfully_ obvious sometimes...

You actually do need the adrenaline shots. They are not just for other players. My wife and I have been playing this with our teenage sons for four years. The clothing has no weight, you do can’t drop it, but you can use the clothing items to change your character’s appearance. You NEED accelerant for crafting. Starting out, you should pick up EVERYTHING. You can recycle everything for resources to craft other things.

Think she said to get the materials from her bike..then craft her a med kit....Lookin forward to a series !!!

All the stuff you had on your other charecter and all stuff you put in storage will be available to you on every charecter you make in this game.

You definitely need the adrenaline shots. or you'll have to go back to the last save point. Under the survival tree for the perk points is one for lockpicking, you'll definitely going to want that one. Besides the robots there's little radar dishes set up by the robots. Take those out they are worth a lot of points. The 1st weapons you get will be Gray's, drop them when you get Green ones to replace; then to Purple, then to Gold. Always search human bodies for ammo. Yes you can take the gasoline, but if you don't see motorcycles at the bike station don't bother to pick it up. Check the back of all trucks for ammo. AND make a simple first aid kit for the girl, she will follow in the game.

Adrenaline is needed even in singleplayer since it's the best way to revive yourself, ALL cosmetics weigh nothing and can be safely picked up Also you can crouch and belly crawl to sneak around

the collectable stuff and weapons is´nt just in the base, it´s in the local area so you really need to look around

I remember, back in the day (a could of days ago?), I was watching one of GE's videos and he had said something along the lines of, "I can't help myself; I'm a collector". Now he's playing a game with weightless cosmetic items and is actively trying to avoid taking them... Game looks great. Please keep playing it, though I prefer Viewfinder more as it's completely new.

the adrenaline shots are also to self revive. the crafting nerf while back made crafting health packs alot slower and harder. last time i played before the robot companion update i spent more time hunting textile to craft first aids than fighting. this is one game where hoarding early one is really helpful later.

There is something hidden on top of one of those little buildings near that police car in the beginning iirc. Hard to get to.

This is a challenging game and i have played and completed it. I hope to see a complete series of this and watch you experience the story and challenge and make us laugh😂 I live in Sweden and this game has a very accurate picture of 90:s Sweden environment 🥰🤘

Clothes and Makeup not go to inventory. You must collect that for use in apperience window. That is begin of the game, und You se adv medical kit. You must have begin medical kit. She tell material is near "miss bike" , that is bike you see first. You need Simple First Aid Kit!!

I've been playing this since it released, you DEFFO need the adrenaline! Most of my weapons are legendary even have the Soviet weapons pack, US weapons pack... the SAW burns through ammo like you wouldn't believe! Be careful around the bosses, especially the bigger ones, they really need a lot of work to put down but solo they need an insane amount of work to put down, you'll need a rocket launcher, Anti material rifle, SAW is a good choice as well!

There's a dead guy on the roof of the concession stand along with a weapon. See if you can climb on to the roof of the concession stand to get his stuff.

BTW you will find good weapons on the way of your adventure This a good game but I recommend having a ice pack on your console because it gets hot while playing multi-player

I have to say this game has a lot wrong with it, a lot of things I just hate and outfits that look like some hippie golfer on LSD designed them BUT I always have a blast playing it. There's just something about wandering thru the deserted winter wonderland killing weird ass robots that is so much fun.

game starts of well, has good immersion, in part because its the same game engine used to make Call of the wild... a hunting game... so its a very good template to make a hardcore slightly sci-fi survival shooter...= what it looks and feels like when u first start to play... initial experience is obvsiously very decieveing... as eventually realize... this is not the end game or the core focus of the game as u will eventually realize...the dev attempted to follow popular trends, like fortnight for example, so many changes and updates were tacked on just to try follow popular trends in gaming, while ignooring the very basis of what people liked when they first jumped into the game.... which begins to rapidly deminish, even more so if u have dlc out the gate, but the compltely trampled what made the game so appealing out gate, to focus on trends of the time, while ignoring community opinion. in conclusion it turns into a harry potter sponge similuliator as the game goes on and virtually only feels as it should, when u not encountering anything, otherwise immersion goes down the toilet and the harry potter sponge mechanics kicks in and it turns into a kid fantasy game with guns at that point... wouldnt have been a issue if the dev supported the mod community, but they dont, so modders have had a hard time trying to do anything as the original game engine was designed not to be mod friendly, so mods are sparse and very time consuming if u want to fix the jank, which soon as a update drops... u need to go do it again = not many interested in that. lot of the new content is a completly seperate game loop thats been tacked on... as such,, nice if it worked and wasnt tacked on and things by default were built around to support it, but the devs kept the tacked on feel, meanwhile the coregameplay has basically been ignored, which is why so many people drop and dont invest, as the core agme is still very much alpha stage of development. most recent activity from the devs i suppose due to less then ideal DLC sales and the factor less and less noobs out of school are picking up the game... has started to make them consider things as they have been surveys and the latest update /dlc actually provides somethings folks have wanted day 1 and also modded in as well, thats works well into the base game and late game formula, bbut again... its long road to fix what needs to be fixed, not only based on the rate of hupdates would it take around 2 years for them to fix the base game and get it out of alpha stage of development, they also need another 1-2 years to fix all the tacked on elements as well... this means they have to keep things straight as a arrow for a few years... not something they have a history of doing, which is why i havent bought any dlc since my orginal purchase of the game. though if they really went to work, like a proper developer... they could actually get this all sorted within a year and even release parts as DLC, bit like with the most recent update... problem greed and laziness tend to go hand in hand when it comes to anything above indie levels of development and in part because its a business and folks at the helm only look at $$$, they dont have personal interest or enjoyment in playing/using the product, so they could careless if it suks, long as it makes a profit... this why many old games were good, the folks making them... also played them... in result they would make changes so they themselves wouldnt have to endure the mind rot modern games bring to the table, because the person paying the bills sees the product, like a babies dummy and isnt interested, they only care about the revenue and in turn because the testers have no investment or need to make the game better... they are encouraged to streamline the testing process...so there is less to test, less to do, so they can just get to the end of the level as fast as possible, this is also one reason console was prefered for development over PC, it basically gave the developers excuses to be lazy and why developers who wanted to make the best game experience... never started from console, unless they were making a classic old school style game. anyways.. food for thought.
