MY FIRST REACTION TO THE FINAL BOSS FIGHT AND EASTER EGG CUTSCENE IN COLD WAR ZOMBIES "FORSAKEN". THIS CLIFFHANGER JUST IS NOT FAIR!!!! 🥞 Follow Milo here: 🐦 / mrroflwaffles 📸 / milo_bc 💸 Ethereum address: MrRoflWaffles.eth
I’ll be honest, when cold war zombies first began I was skeptical. Didnt like the changes and thought it felt too different from previous instalments, but now. My perspective has changed and I absolutely love this game and it’s story
I’m still completely skeptical about the intel, the reused uninspiring maps but I did like that Eddie looked like he was happy. I hope they step up the creativeness for vanguard.
What I love is that at the beginning of Cold War, Richthofen’s voice actor released a video saying that DOCTOR Edward Richthofen was not in the game. Now we have Director Edward Richthofen. Very clever.
@@Daniel328DT nobody, he’s yet to speak in this iteration, unless there’s a buncha intel from “the director” and if so, and he doesn’t even sound familiar enough that people caught on to it then well… that’s just weird
Hey Milo, on Eddie’s desk you see a picture of him as a pilot, and one with his family. His family got killed on accident by Weaver and Samantha, and Eddie selected weaver himself for requiem, without them knowing each other. Janus is the god of rebirth, so the project may be to revive his family. I’m guessing that in vanguard we’ll find out how Zykov turned into the Forsaken, and we will witness the events from Die Maschine when it was built. I am very exited!
I don't think that is a world war 2 plane given how the cockpit is opening, it looks much more modern like F14/F15 style. Plus given his apparent age it doesn't seem likely that he could've been a pilot 40 years ago. It would be cool to see him though.
Unlikely, unless the zombies storyline in Vanguard takes place years after WW2. He would have been too young, he possibly wasn't even in this universe during WW2.
For everyone complaining the Easter egg was too easy, I hear ya but I also see where Treyarch is coming from. They want everyone to be able to experience it and not just hardcore zombie players. No point in developing huge boss fights and cutscenes if only 10% of the community can actually get to it
There were EE I never got through in bo4...didn't stop me from try and trying. It made me play the game even more. Where as now I do the EE every game and there is no challenge so I don't play as much.
I literally just completed the easter egg on my first attempt of the map and then uninstalled the game since there's now nothing left for me to do on cold war. Awful awful awful zombies. I thought Die Maschine and firebase z were just the "beginning" maps and we'd get to more crazy maps like origins and shadows of evil but I was so so so wrong. The final two maps are so fucking boring and the easter eggs are just terrible. The story is terribly written too since there's no mystery or anything. The only mystery of the game was "who's the forsaken" which we all figured out as "the big evil guy in the dark aether" and "who is the director" which we all knew was richtofen from the start. This zombies really dropped off after the first few weeks of release and I don't think I'll ever buy a cod again just because I 1) know the easter eggs will be ridiculously easy therefore making my first attempt the only attempt 2) the story will be stale with student operators instead of actual characters 3) I'll have my hand held the entire time by some narrator (weaver) over a radio and 4) the maps will just be ripped straight out of the campaign with virtually zero change (forsaken, firebase z, mauer der toten).
@@ahmed_iso1908 No, it's the 'Richtofen Again' theme. It's playing because we just saw Richtofen again lol. The spot on the map is the exact location of the missiles.
On Eddie’s desk you see a snow globe with a house in it and it could just be my memory from the chronicles trailer, but could that be a throwback to The House?
So everybody was literally just a loose end in the end. Raptor one and the strike team are left in containment for an indefinite amount of time and Weaver, Strauss, Carver and Grey were also taken due to their affiliation in Requiem. Kinda feel bad for all the people involved but I'm glad richtofen is back
Dropping richtofen on the cutscene and saying that to see more of the story that involves my favorites character I need to pay full price a whole another game, even so they said when black ops cold war was being announced The Aether story and The Dark don't have nothing related. Having Richtofen feels more of a cash grab to allure zombies player to buy Vanguard 100% My Honest Opinion.
@@fernandopcs_2351 when did they say they aren’t related? They literally said Dark Aether is in the world that was created from Primis and Ultimas’ sacrifice. Sam is literally in the cutscene/entire game
I think it’s cool they’re keeping Maxis alive. And the Foreskin too, it said he was only secure, not killed. I think vanguard will be really interesting if they basically bring these characters back into the past somehow.
Now that we know it's Eddie, was what he was preparing Samantha for was to be reunited with her soul in the dark aether? Also, r they planning to actually have a great war between our universe (possible multiverse) and what remains inside the dark aether of the apothecons or is Eddie reenacting what Doctor Maxis originally did in the aether story and they're setting up for new characters to take on the roles that Takeo, Tank, Eddie, and Nikoli did in the aether story or both?
nah bro that’s stretching. craig said he doesn’t want a multiverse and primis, ultimus, and victis are all not coming back at all. i would love to see them come back but they ain’t
@@eksoh You didn't fully read my comment, I said new characters taking on a similar role that our 4 main characters did because of the obvious reflective set up they have (Eddie taking the role that Dr Maxis had, and he is already doing expirements with the aferium and the dark aether with test subjects, and clearly there's teleportation in this universe). Also I was trying to distinguish between the world that has the dark aether invading and the dark aether, and the reason why I said POSSIBLE multiverse was because I was unsure if they would go in that direction if there would be a great war.
That the problem right there. Way to difficult to follow. I was all in back in BO3. By the end it got so convoluted I checked out. I've stayed subbed to Milo to keep tabs on the story. It's gone enterily the wrong direction for me. Gameplay looks fun at times, but others it looks just as convoluted as the story. I switched over to Destiny long ago. The raids scratch my zombies EE itch, and the story, while also being convoluted at times, is much easier to follow than all this.
See, I currently had no plans to give a damn about Vanguard’s zombies story. Cold War had me done, and it had me done all the way until I saw his face. When I saw the face of the man himself… I may just pay attention still.
What the ending cutscene meant by "The story will continue" is that it will continue with Eddie Richtofen and the rest of cold wars cast in the next black ops title by treyarch, but vangaurd zombies will just be a prologue to cold war zombies (basically everything before Die Maschine
@@gily- I mean they could always end up going back in time. It really wouldn’t be a stretch. Or the disbanded requiem crew attempts to rescue maxis and they all get sent to the past. Idk. It could go in any direction
Dude that video was awesome thank you for sharing.. I am curious as to why your video cut off like it did there at the end. I almost feel like there's more coming?
It has the same problem the other maps do. Dont get me wrong it's a good map but, once you played the map a few times it gets boring just like the other maps..that's just my opinion tho so take it with a grain of salt.🧂🤓
I was thinking the same thing like what if peck managed to grab the og crew a different version of them or the kids out the dark aether and put them on the island so there was a way to get them back
One thing crucial thing that most people don't seem to realize, Vanguard-Zombies is clearly a prequel, not a sequel. Vanguard-Zombies will go back to the origins of Cold-War-Zombies story, we won't see a true continuation of the Cold-War story until the next Treyarch-Zombies AFTER Vanguard. Too many people seem to think we are going to see a continuation of the story within Vanguard, which clearly is not the case.
@@Quad9995 Yeah... Its called a "prequel". They are going to go into the story of the events that lead up to the start of the Dark-Aether story. The sequeal/continuation of the point which Cold-War just left off at will not happen until the next Treyarch-Zombies, the next Treyarch-Zombies after Vangaurd. Figure 1-2 years from now, depends if they make a zombies mode in the next IW game or not but i doubt it.
Just noticed when he shoes the crew all dead in a cell in the vision and says this is the future . At the ending when all the crew are arrested so you reckon that this is a teaser for the beginning of the next game where maybe the first map is breaking them out but they’re all dead in a cell
Hows it going MrRoflWaffles and Crew!!! Yooo I know this is not the time nor the place for theories but... Did anyone else make a full circle relative to this story. I was thinking young Edward Richthofen was talking about this particular series of events possibly when he was talking to young Samantha Maxis about not knowing how to play zombies right when they were in Agartha. If we thin about it when same had some influence over the zombie horde the events played out very messy and to some extent got many people killed but justice was not served. The "good Edward" knows how to play zombies and make sure that at the end it all comes to an end. I am sure someone theorized it but it only clicked when I started watching the run through of the final boss fight and EE. -HulkageSupreme
Waffles, not sure if you're reading this, or if you've already had this theory, but I think I have a theory behind Eddie's return, which Eddie it is, and how he might've returned. The Eddie we see in the post credits scene is, who I believe, to be the Blood of the Dead Eddie. The Forsaken might've found him while in the dark ether, and must've revived him. Or he might've come back another way you might've figured out. That would explain the scene from Alcatraz with the Cold War team. They might've accidentally stumbled across it while they were looking for Maxis.
If you've noticed, the whole story is building into the same dynamic we had between Samantha and Richthofen, which started out in the old BO1 days. We will probably have again an antagonist Richthofen with bad intentions running evil projects/ organizations, trying to gain aethereal power and also a corrupted Samantha, but with low-key good intentions who has the aethereal power, with both characters coming head to head with each other. But, what they don't know this time its that they 've had this conflict with each other before.
I love this map already and the story for this game was very mediocre but this one went out with a bang I think. I like the fact that on the scroll for the wonder weapon whoever is speaking mentions the “old ones”. I instantly thought of the shadow man and dr monty
Also I don’t know if anyone would care or not, but if you listen closely when peck revealed himself, you can hear a bit of the Easter egg ending tune from Blood of the dead
