I think that the duramax takes the win for me, if you ever get a chance I would love to see how big betty does pulling that boat and pulling it out of the water!
Chomp sounds fantastic, shortie's pretty good too, but Big Betty sounds like taco bell lol. I bet that thing give's you a headache after any drive longer than 5 minutes.
You ain't lying. I just got spanked by a 'yote powered 10spd Ford standard cab short bed just like shorty. Truck looked completely stock and was even quiet until he hit a button and opened up his exhaust. I have a 500+hp Trailblazer and he just walked me😂 I followed him after he spanked me and he had a laptop, Akropovic exhaust that had electrically actuated baffles that opened on his key fob, cam, tuned obviously, and that was it. He tricked me pretty good. I thought it was gonna be an easy win until he hit that button for the exhaust and that's when I knew something bad was about to happen.
@@justpassingthrough3166 speaking of potential damn I love the TBSS my brother used to have one but no where near as powerful but still fun. But yea them 5.0 f150’s are no joke.
Is like to see you throw a Black Widow muffler on something…out of all the setups I’ve tried, it’s been my favorite. Chambered sound but more open than a Flowmaster and with way less drone.
@@justinhall8318 well a big part of that is the fact it’s dumped at the axle…if that same muffler you have had pipe going all the way to the back it wouldn’t be as bad. Apples to apples with pipe ran to the rear, the black widow would almost definitely drone way less but in that situation it may still drone with it being dumped before the axle.
I've got a 5.3 powered Trailblazer with Stg 3 hi-lift cam, all supporting mods including dod delete, SS intake with 102mm tb, longtube headers, 3" catless exhaust with borla mufflers, tuned, 3k stall, heads, obviously waaaaay better springs and lifters, and new forged pistons bringing compression to slighlty over 12. Truck sounds absurd and this morning it was 44F here north of Orlando so enjoyed starting it this morning. love your rigs bro. I also have a 97 2 door Tahoe Z71 sport with blk/gry line-x for paint and lots of goodies and a 97 Landcruiser as well as my wifes 02 Excursion 7.3 Eddie Bauer and my baby... 06 LBZ 2500 on 22" Detata Moda rims that Ive had since new with just about every mod from Gale banks, BD Diesel, MBRP, ATS, and JL audio there is. My wife always said the only mod left for all my trucks is a driver mod because I'm always getting tickets Can't help it though loud, fast trucks brings out the man-child in me...😂
@@fish_R_stinky69 me neither. It's noise tickets and non-moving stuff. Cops hate me in my little area because it's all Mercedes and Toyotas and BMWs. Understand what I'm saying. They don't like me nor my trucks. Will be moving but my wife and I really like the house.
Chomper by far is my favorite sounding. Clifford is my favorite looking, mostly because I have the same truck and have dreams of mine looking that nice one day. I got it from a kid and it only has 160k miles on it but there is some body damage and I've struggled to find people who can help me fix it. Mechanically she is a beast, I just need to give her body some tlc.
bro im trying my hardest to get a truck back like larry. i had to sell mine sadly, but ive been pushing and working good lately to get it back. keep up the great videos!!
The way CHOMPER sounds is what I am after with my 02' Suburban. Im going with the same cam, long tube headers but I am not sure about the rest of the exhaust.
