Every time I hear a Coldplay song I forget about the cruelty of this world and gets reminded that there still is love, humanity and compassion left out there and that fills me with hope that everything is going to be OK. No other band does that! I will be so proud to have lived during the Coldplay era, what a privilege!

Coldplay is just the type of music the world needs right now and always. It always stays as a sweet reminder of goodness in this world even when all hope is gone.

The band is unbelievable. You think now they are finished, now they can't invent something new, but ... they still do. It's a privilege that there are artists like them who make such wonderful music to entertain us. I had the chance to see them twice live, their concerts are ... it's difficult to say .. you have to experience it. If you ever have the opportunity to see them live ... do it ! You will never forget it.

When I taste success I will give credit to this song....

My parents came to the UK in the 90's as refugees. My mother left her own dying mother and her entire family. My father left his family too. Not because they wanted to "steal jobs" or "spread sharia," but to escape persecution, and to give their kids a good life. When they arrived in the UK, they had no one. They didn't know a word of English, my father was held at knife-point many times, my mother used to stay all alone in a rough area waiting for my dad to come back from work way past midnight every damn day, all while taking care of three kids who were under the age of 3. They saw riots unfold before their very eyes post 9/11, if they weren't isolated enough - they were ostracised even more after that horrific event. They persevered, for their kids, for their future. When I questioned my mother why we faced different treatment because of the colour of our skin, her reply always was "son, people are like flowers. You get every shape and size, every colour and kind." She still saw the good in bad people. Because of their struggles, because of their dedication, myself and my siblings are well educated and have no one else but our parents to thank. My brother works for a multinational company; when I started university, I was Scotland's youngest student. Now I recently finished university and will be graduating at the age of 20 - the youngest in my class. I am the only brown guy in my whole cohort. I have been employed by Scotland's National Health Service even before graduating. I broke the glass ceiling and will continue to pursue my dreams to make my parents proud, to make my community proud, to make a difference for everyone. They taught me and my siblings to stand up for ourselves, to challenge inequality, to be the voice of the voiceless. They lacked the confidence to face bigotry because they had no one, because they couldn't speak English - so they taught me to pursue my dreams and defeat the bigots with intellect, and to always help everyone. I guess what I'm trying to say is that immigrants and refugees face constant racism/xenophobia/Islamophobia yet they see the good in bad. They persevere and face so much inequality, yet they always have a smile on their faces and teach their kids positive life lessons. We all are indeed one. ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
