This song makes me think about all of the music that these guys put out throughout the years. Your music helped some of us overcome depression , sadness , the loss of a loved one , heartbreaks ... Chief_Sunboyz the b sides from the past few eras are all really good. some like you would say, why did they leave the most unique content off the album? Coldplay always amazes me 1. Spreading Positivity and Love. 2. Sacrificing to improve the bigger picture (Like when they shared the super bowl stage with beyonce and bruno to spread the message of togetherness even though they knew that they wouldn't get the deserved credit) 3. Making good, beautiful and heartfelt songs with good lyrics. 4. Having such a 'Down to earth ' attitude. 5. Always participating in charity along with 10% of their profits going straight to various organizations 6. Engaging audiences in the live shows to let them enjoy their moments to the fullest. 7. giving tribute to various artists and respecting others (They covered a song of the band 'Viola Beach',(a young amateur band which got taken away in a car accident) in glastonbury. 8. Not reflecting ANY kind of sexual stuffs on their songs and videos 9. making the world a little bit more hopeful and together. That's why I am in love with this band for almost 3 years. And I think I haven't passed a day without listening to their songs. Long live Coldplay. Try to 'Fix' more people,would you?!

I don't agree with the 2nd Point, Sacrificing? not getting deserved credit? i don't think so, they were amazing and response was even better, and secondly they were asked to be on stage and given money(i don't know if they gave this money to charity or something and yea i know its for spreading a message but not for free and i don't hate them for that). R M yup even if people might disagree, it is the reality. The reason they have such a huge following, is because they appeal to people from literally all parts of the world, from all walks of life. That's something that the Beatles were able to do. I'm not comparing both the band's music BTW.

Yes, exactly. They have a unique way of collaborating sounds and creating images in the listeners head that often has resolve and peace. Other times its joy and fun, I've listened to them for 17 years now (13 when I started) and I finally saw one of their shows last year in San Francisco and it was nothing short of great!

Evan ten Kate "our time" meaning compared to other bands within the past 20 years, Coldplay hasn't faded. Similar to U2 in the sense people will deny they like them, but their playlists will probably have some of their songs. "our time" meaning anyone born mid 80s to early 2000s. Obviously all my opinion.

The songs really reflect how they are as human beings - Chris, Jonny, Guy and Will. Even after being one of the best bands in the world ( for me, the actual BEST), they're so rooted. They don't sing about money and cars. They sing about life - how difficult it can be and yet you can overcome each and every difficulty. In so many ebbs of my life, I have turned to Coldplay. "Just because I'm losing, doesn't mean I'm lost".

i like how coldplay dose not just make songs they have a meaning they have a PURPOSE and its not all about the money to them its about trying to get a message across and never do they use bad language so anyone can listen to it and it uplifts peaple it helps them just forget about there problems and just enjoy, every time i feel upset or sad i just listen to coldplay, i mean just wow i have always loved them but this just stands out to me for having such a propose, its saying that sometimes we can just forget about the world around us (or be hypnotized) and just not care about anyone or anything anymore not think about anyone or anything and i feel they do the samething but in a good way like i just listen and after i get done im always happy and joyful and that is a great feeling well i hope u all agree...?

I remember when I first heard this song. I was in the bath tub looking out the window, the clouds were pink and red, I thought it was beautiful but I felt this strange feeling inside. The morning after I was told that my aunt had died during the night. She was a colorful and warm person everyone loved. Everytime I hear this song I think of her. She passed way too early.❤

Apple User I can see that. The ascending piano riff is reminiscent of O's riff. To me, it's the guitar and piano during the first chorus that remind me of Gravity, and the melody of the verses feels/sounds very similar to Atlas. The piano in the background of the verses even feels like it could have been in Atlas, maybe during the parts where he sings "caught in the fire," etc.

you need to! it was an in credible experience for me. They were so good performing live, not to mention how colorful the stage and lightings were, and how they engaged the audience. I don't care how much it's gonna cost, I'm going again this August :)

Esta canción sonaba mientras compraba las entradas para Music Of The Spheres Tour Argentina, temblaba de la emoción después de horas esperando para conseguir alguna, la frustración y tristeza que sentí cuando se había agotado ya la "única" fecha y no había podido comprar fue muy grande, pensé que nunca iba a poder verlos en vivo y disfrutar de sus shows que son mágicos, cuando anunciaron la 2da fecha fue todo emoción pero ansiedad también, estuve rogando al universo de que no se agoten tan pronto para poder conseguir y me escuchó... cuando pude comprarlas fue la emoción más grande de los últimos años y con esta canción se completó el momento mágico que estaba viviendo. I don't like sharing my playlist with people. If they don't appreciate the songs I love, I feel disappointed and sad. Because those songs mean a lot to me.
