THIS is surely the most underrated pop song of Coldplay. It deserves a LOT of more recognition. Since they began to play more pop-oriented music (2005 - today), this is one of the best pop songs they've ever made. Epic. Fresh. Simple. I thought that 13 years ago when i first heard it, and i'm still thinking it until today.

My dad showed me this when this came out, back when I was 9 years old. This was the very first Coldplay song I ever heard and I love it so much. I even asked my dad to repeat this song multiple times. It reminds me of him whenever I play this song. Love you dad for showing me this great masterpiece ✨

totally agree. Viva La Vida (and prospekt's march which was an offspring of that) had not a single bad or even mediocre song on it. It's the closest thing we've got to a modern day symphony (it IS a modern day symphony) and the fact that they're known as "that pop band whose lead singer was married to gwyneth paltrow" is infuriating because their musical mark and legacy will carry on for ages.

Quite possibly the greatest music video of all time. It's so emotional that l still get happy tears 🥲 every time I see it. The reason believe it or not is not because of the kids reaction to the band but with the adults. They're filled with disbelief and confusion but also child-like enchantment at what they're seeing. Like when the lady was tilting her head to the side because of her curiosity as to why the stage was getting larger or when the pyrotechnics went off and all the adults for a couple of seconds dropped down on the floor which led to some glass breaking as well, only for the adults to rise up again in amazement which was best exemplified by the reverand looking around. These subtleties in this video were not only brilliant but beautiful as well

Coldplay is a very humble and humane band, since they are kind enough, to pay respect to those unknown and often neglected workers behind the stage, that makes the show, and unforgettable performances possible. They depicted the crew guy being omnipresent, and on top of everything (of course, more than one) and even shows how that dude helps the drumer to get his instrument back together But most important, is that kids are witnessing that. Coldplay's songs have always seemed like a celebration of life, rather than political anger or hedonism, and while singing about those has its pleasures and advantages, there's some special, bright quality about Coldplay that I have yet to see replicated by any other band.

I saw this music video by chance many years ago, I barely caught the name of if but I knew it had been coldplay as the marionette band and the heavenly music haunted me like from the corner of my eye, never allowing me to truly remember. I feel like a cat who caught the red dot and it is just as magical as my mind had preserved it. Wonderful piece of art.

This video is just another mesmerizing, jaw dropping creation by Coldplay. Dang...what a special band, brand of music, poetry and motion...Chris Martin? That is his name yes? The vocal even though he can easily play all instruments. The harmony within the band and out of the box videos set them apart from other genres. Adventure, can you imagine how much fun they have making these videos? Dynamics within the team make or break a band. These guys have it and take care of the relationship. Seriously...brilliant.
