Someone just gave me that tent after using it once just because it leaked after they stored it in a very hot place, the waterproof strips around the door were almost melted. .I'm going to apply water proofing and I'm sure that will fix the problem.. I love it!.
@@devolinski front door is hard to deal with, the design is a flaw because the top slants as opposed to an awning design like other tents, so really the only way to fight this is by tying a sail to a tree above the front of the tent. But aside from that it's a dam good tent. It's good policy to always seal a tent before using it and to maintain doing it once a year.
Yes you can. I had to I camp in Florida and the rain comes so fast and so heavy there that without the rainfly it just doesn't cut it. Add'l tip bring pool noodles and place them in the tent between the armature and the fabric at the corners. it will keep the fabric from sagging against all the rain of 49 states but still, get a rainfly for Florida
