Built a Trailer for my mini bike. Installed a custom dog carrier. aND TOOK MY DOG BUDDY FOR A SPIN! VIDEO ALSO goes start to finish on the trailer build. Thanks for watching !!
That is so cool. I showed our Corgi, Sammy, this video and now he wants me to build one for my Coleman. It will have to wait for Spring as I don't have heat in my shop and it's snowing here in Ontario, NY. Tell Buddy that Sammy says "Hi!"
HOLY GOD❗😀 THAT SPONGE PRESS PAINTING TECHNIQUE OF YOURS IS AWSOME. THE STYLE OF YOUR VIDEO IS TOP NOTCH AS WELL. IVE BEEN MAKING THINGS IN THE GARAGE FOR 45 YEARS BUT HELL I DONT HAVE GOOD CAMERA EQUIPMENT. IM SUBSCRIBED, IM HOOKED 🤓🤓🤓🍺
Thank You!! But in all fairness , my gal KD suggested it. I tried tree branches (small ones with little leaves) as a stencil. Horrible FAIL. Regular sponges holes are too small and close together. A craft store had “sea sponges” for 5IVE bucks. Just right! Thanks for subscribing !!!
@@imthebrosman THANK MAN I HAVE A 2021 200UEX-5 WITH STAGE1 KIT ON IT STAGE2 ON THE WAY : TORQUE CONVERTER. GLOSS BLACK WITH RED PINSTRIPES AND RED HIGHLIGHTS EVERY WHERE. THANKYOU AGAIN FOR RESPONDING. (SCRANTON, PA.) 🤓🤓🤗🤗😆😆😀😀
good job, you can tell he was diggin the new sights and smells while he rode. I'm still waitin on my new Monkey to get here, they told me mid dec now, we'll see.
Thanks ! Here’s a link to one of my videos. At the end is the trailer hitch . I used a “handle” from a machine I bought at Goodwill store. The “machine” was not important. I was after the handle. It measured the same width as my Coleman frame. I took the handle off and threw the rest away. The two “upright braces are legs from a cheap camping chair. Cool dog, dogs are just cool, I ride mine on my scooter sometimes, and on my riding mower! I clicked because I'm working on a trailer for my scooter, I used a hand truck, got different tires, wheels, and a wider axel, debating on weather to shorten it or not, I just plan to bolt a footlocker on it, and adding a few lights, maybe connect it to my tail and turn signal, brake lights, I'd like the possibility of making a hand truck again, if I need it when I move, , I'm thinking I'll just make the toung shorter, leaving it full length, I love dogs, they have great personality ! The basics of a trailer pulling good. Is the toung weight, yeah you can have too much, but too little will make it pull crazy, keeping the axels back , then the load can be adjusted to keep it pulling straight! Building larger , car trailers, I divide it in 1/4, center the axels just forward of the rear 1/4, makes the toung a bit heavy, but pulls better,
Wow, just saw your post! Sorry it took so long. Ya, you’ve got the “vision “ being able to imagine something, then turn it to reality. Plus using the logic to consider how it will handle, loads, balance , trailing axle etc. Love to see some pics of it with your buddy. Thanks for watching my video
Hi, i dont know if you still use this but i couldnt help but think padding every other bar would be better for your dog incase of a big bump they wernt ready for. I feel like padding every bar would reduce visibility way to much but than again what do i know im watching from a screen. Regardless thank you for giving me tons of ideas for my coleman
The bar hahahaha this is as high as I’m getting bro . I just got my first mini bike and I’m diggen it . I’m 61 and just learning about all the mini bike stuff. I want a trailer I plan on getting stuff to pull behind da bike. Firewood,etc..
@@glennguerra2326 that’s very cool. I’m 67! Started on mini bikes in 1967. Never lost that fascination or desire for mini bikes! Hey there’s a “trailer hitch” video on YT where the dude used “black plumbing pipes and fittings” to make his hitch for the mini bike. It would handle the weight you wanna tow. I’ll see if I can find the link
I know it's been a couple years, but how did you do the hitch? Is it just a normal ball hitch? How does it work when you lean? I want to do this but I need to figure out how to do it. Thanks and great work!
I made up my own type of connection between the hitch and the trailer. On the hitch, I put a plastic about 2 inches long. Then another piece of steel that would go around it and allow for up and down movement of the trailer. then I went to Ace hardware and got a steel spacer. Basically it’s a steel tube. About 1 inch long. This piece will allow the trailer left and right movement. On a piece of paper draw a D. The round part of the D is the piece that goes over the hitch and the plastic bushing if you will. The stick of the D is the steel spacer I’m talking about. The 1 in.² two that is the tongue of the trailer is cut to slide over the steel spacer. I cut the vertical sides of the tongue back to create a square D looking situation. Drawing example would be draw the capital D on a piece of paper then draw another D backwards. Overlap the two straight parts of the D. So your drawing will look like an oval with a lion going down the middle Berkeley. That vertical line is the steel to spacer, the two parts of the D are on the trailer hitch on one side and the other side is the shoe cut out of your tongue piece. This is probably confusing as hell. I’m sorry I can’t include a picture.
@@imthebrosman I think I can see what you're talking about. Either way, I'm going to have to tinker with it, so having this to start with works. Thanks for responding back!
No welding. You can see a “channel “ about 1/8” wide . The late slides into that channel. Then I put angle aluminum as cross braces. Pop rivets on the angles.
