I needed a trailer to haul my dog and supplies for the Coleman mini-bike so this video shows how I attach and use the trailer for lots of off road fun. More off grid adventures: www.simplesolar...
So glad you are doing videos again. I watched all your older ones when you uploaded them you inspired my own journey of living small. I will be going totally offgrid this year
I am working on a small off grid cabin design and plans and hope to have that up next week but I also like to share vids of my adventures and having fun on the homestead. Like and subscribe so you know when I have a new video up. Thanks!
That minibike is awesome and the trailer is perfect for the dog. I used a minibike to round up livestock that got out of the fenced pasture. It made it easy.
I have a 100 acre off-grid property and use it for making new trails through bush and I am amazed what this small bike is capable of. I like that it only weighs 140 pounds so I can pick up and carry it it gets stuck or I need to load it in my jon boat.
There's a way to build a trailer for bike out of crutches. Look it up people throw away crutches after they heal. Get tires out of the trash and you get a trailer for some sweat and hardware.
Ive got a ct 200 u ex too i love mine its fun to play around on and not terribly expensive i keep mine around my fiances house Theres lots and lots seldom used dirt roads to ride on
@@solarcabin i. Hoping here soon to take my bike over to my brothers place theres him and my other brother often cruise there 4 wheelers 70 miles at a time
How rough are the roads you ride with the trailer and how well does trailer hold up in those roads? How fast do you typically go? Looking to get a similar one for my bt200x to haul stuff on a dirt road with small rocks.
I take it on some pretty rough gravel roads no problem. You might want to get new tubes or put solid rubber wheels on it as the tubes the tires they send are junk.
@@solarcabin Alright! Likely will get an Aosom trailer. My Bt200x is still in storage, but I looked at online pictures and it appears to have a similar chain guard bolt/nut mount, except it doesn't look as sturdy as yours unless its just the pictures/angles. Any worries about that little mount (for the plastic chain guard) breaking off at all?
@@solarcabin I think I'm going to get one.Excited , I think it'll be better than an ATV for me, to haul some wood , of course a little at a time . Better than pushing a cart. THANK YOU AGAIN! 1
Lots of guys add a mirror and turn signals to the bike to make them street legal but out here in the country everyone rides ATVs and mini-bikes on the back roads. I would at least get a mirror.
