Of all the versions of Anything Goes that I’ve seen (and I’ve seen’em all), this one is the absolute best. The incredible stellar cast, the quality of the musical arrangements, the magic of it all, are simply unsurpassed to this day. I found a dvd of this very performance at a Barnes & Nobles years ago which I still have but finding it on RU-vid is a pleasant surprise. So, thank you to whomever posted this (even with the giant watermark). God bless you.
My mother looks like Ernest Borgnine towards the end but she never cursed or showed any skin in public and I believe that should count for something. Also Colgate used to be pretty good toothpaste until they went commercial.
