This game, the divisional round vs the saints with the Vernon Davis catch, or the falcons nfc championship coming back from 17-0 is by far my favorite playoff games. As of recent mostly 2019 the game against the saints was badass and the Seahawks game where we stuffed them at the 1. Idc what anybody says the niners always put on a show win or lose and we have a history of consistently winning when in the playoffs.

You're right bro. 230+ passing yards, 181 yards rushing (all-time QB record) and 4 total touchdowns in the divisional round against the Packers. Also coming back from a 17-0 defecit on the road against the league's best team (Atlanta Falcons) in the conference championship game really showed how much that defense carried him right?

+Devin Turner You forgot about a good running game and the read option that no one knew how to defend at the time and was tailor made for his talents and hid his flaws as a pocket passer. Take those things and that stud defense away (2014-now) and tell me how successful Kap's been since? if he was ever elite why is he playing like garbage now? elite players elevate the rest of his team, not needing the rest of his team to carry him for him to have an ounce of success

People will swear his stats are the reason despite being 16td 4int on an awful niners team. People just need to admit they don’t like that he kneels....but then when they admit that they then follow up why he does it which is usually not the reason he kneels. Can’t reason with anyone.

+sandvich48 guess some people forgot how after the offense lined up the Rams defense literally let Torrey smith wide open and had 11 guys in the box and kaepernick never made the adjustment. His stats were declining. He wasn't finishing games. Poorly executed two minute drills and always always always fell apart at the goal line. Dude just doesn't prepare on Sunday's. When he was a second string guy working for a starting job he was pretty dang good but once he got comfortable he turned into one of the worst players to ever play the position.

Remember, Kap was a deflection away from beating Seattle in the NfC conference championship game and going to a second straight Superbowl the following year. They should have beaten the Ravens in the Superbowl if it was not for bad playing calling at the end of the game when they went four and out in the end zone.

Leaving out the rookies. Manning, Keenum, Dak, Trubisky, Jameis, Flacco, Rosen, Josh Allen, Dalton, L. Jackson. That's 10. Allen and Jackson are sort of unproven, but they're in the same category as Kap with wanting to run more than throw. If the teams are in win-now more (Ravens kind of are), I think Kap gives them a better chance every game. Dak is basically Kap 0.9. He has a decent arm and can read a D, but he isn't near the speed Kap has. If you put Kap in at QB with the rest of the Cowboys team....wow. The rest have shown me enough that I think if the teams did a straight-up switch at QB for Kap, they'd win more games.

Kap was part of the reason we collapsed in 2014 bad in the pocket. Greg Roman was probably a bigger issue though, and Harbaugh hated the owner. But kap was a one trick pony. Had he stayed in the league and taken a deal he could have become half decent probably

I went to this game that opening pick 6 was crazy, and Kaepernick ran all over Green Bay (which disappointed me a bit) but I was still really sad when the 49ers lost the Super Bowl because I still like the niners they're my second favorite team, so it was hard for me to route for a team in SF, so I didn't really cheer for anyone, and cried a little bit at the end, but I don't care much anymore I was 11 back then. It was the first football game I ever went to, and was sooooooooo excited and it is still the only football game I've been to

NINERS FAN HERE FROM THE 70's and will die one.....BOY this team was a reminder of Montana Rice days....the weapons....but now we're still rockin the scene.... went thru a rough patch as ALL teams do....but seeing some light again
