The Herd with Colin Cowherd I was hoping for three straight championships & a consistent top running mate like Pippen where his peak was basically untouchable like Jordan.
The Herd with Colin Cowherd LeBron is as good as your gonna get, LeBron is the best since Jordan and will be the best since Jordan for many more years. I don't see anyone eclipsing either one for many years.
Colin always makes great points out of the craziest things. “Yesterday I went to Walgreens and I was paying for a candy bar and then I was like hey, this is like the modern NBA”
Alexande r that's sad you think a guy that's built like Howdy Doody truly knows basketball. That's why athletes like Jim Jackson, Steven Jackson, and Kenyon Martin always correct him with an athlete's perspective. It's funny, if you're articulate and use analogies you can fool people into thinking you actually know what you're talking about. If you're loud and boisterous like Stephen A. Smith people second guess your analysis. Being objective, Stephen A is a much better analyst than Cowherd. His predictions and hold true much more than Cowherd. The only thing Cowherd knows about bball is Lebron.
LeBron will end his career as #1 or #2 Greatest players of all time. All that losing finals record only matters in the comparison with Jordan. Besides that, no one touching Bron
Joseph Webley I agree with best player of all time as in hes the best overall player in regards to his talent and ability. G.O.A.T id say know. Wins/Dominance and Championships have to be considered in the conversation of greatness
Jason S Kobe is my Favourite player ALL TIME! and it's a legit argument. However I must concede that LeBrons statistical dominance alongside the championships he does have, supercedes Kobe winning. Yes Kobe is 5-2 and bron 3-5, However Bron will end his career top 3 in all statistical categories. Unfortunately, that trumps kobe in regards to the GOAT conversation
MVP Sharpie when was he not expected to make the finals. I'm sure he's been the favorite to come out of the east for at least the last 8 years or at least the majority of them
At age 35, Jordan led the league in scoring, was 16th in steals, tied for 3rd in PER, second in free throws made in the league, was third on the Bulls in defensive efficiency rating, won his 5th league mvp, won his 6th finals mvp and his 6th championship in eight years. Who was better than him that year Colin?
I suppose she does her own makeup? Definitely couldn't have been done by a makeup artist, Colin definitely doesn't have makeup on either................................................
L3/6ron’s career was probably heading towards having a Karl Malone type career with zero rings. He didn’t win rings until he got with two all stars, then won another one with two other all stars. MJ won with what he had, never bounced to get ahead faster and never lost the next year after winning a title. LBJ didn’t win a ring until he created a superteam. Even with a superteam for 7 years he still lost 4x. 6 finals losses in total where he choked or played below average or passive at times. Jordan never did any of this in the finals. Good career for Mr. 3/6 but he ain’t close to MJ or better, which most people felt he was going for at that time.
Tobias Neal Um that’s what it means to win with WHAT you had, they drafted and they developed later due to Jordan. He didn’t go and seek out all stars who were already established stars like LBJ did. L3/6ron went out and recruited all stars to form a superteam TWICE..he didn’t win with what he had in Cleveland. Here’s the thing you’re overlooking as well, Jordan lost AND won with what he had, Mr. 3/6 had to go and create superteams bc he couldn’t win with what he had.
Just because something makes money doesn't make it good people went to go see it because of the Jurassic Park name if it didn't have that title it would barely make a quarter of that people didn't go for the quality of the film because they couldn't know before they saw it
Stephen B. Smith stats do matter and numbers don't lie,but it's also hypocritical of fans trying to use rings or final losses as a detraction narrative to keep LeBron out of the conversation as a great.
I cant deny LeBron James as the Goat. The numbers back it up. He is in his 15th season, is Durability is insane. While other greats faded due to injury he has maintained a high level of play for that long with no set backs due to injuries. A huge testament to this man's work ethic and the way he treats his body. Lebron will be missed once he is gone.
I really hope turning Jr Smith and Birdman into legitimate, defensive, important pieces of a championship puzzle. I remember you would always hear people say “JR Smith, if he’s on your team you will never win a ring... if he’s an important part of your team, you won’t contend for a title
I know your not big on Esports but to add to your point on NBA franchise values vs NFL franchises; NBA teams are investing in Esports Organizations. They are expanding there portfolios beyond traditional sports .
But nobody is saying Jurassic Park should win the Oscar for Best Picture. And nobody (should) say that LeBron is the Goat. He’s delivered on the hype becoming one of the best players ever. But Best of All Time is a different expectation- that’s what he hasn’t lived up to.
It’s amazing to see all these commentators who live in LA loving Lebron since he went to the Lakers, after talking trash about him over the last few months of the regular season
SHAKE WEIGHT he also had one of the greatest coaches in the history of basketball, Larry Brown. Played against a lazy Lakers team and he also had a HOF Center and multiple D man of the year, Motumbo.
Tobias Neal Lazy??? lol The game 1 finals loss to Iverson was the only game they loss the whole playoffs while playing better teams along the way, and Mutombo was in his twilight.
immag530 lebrons team was trash. It’s just something about a 6 foot shooting guard beating kobe and shaq lakers in a game when he’s the only one that could score. You can’t beat it.
Cmon guys. Alot of former nba players think if mj played in this era he will definitely dominate, averaging 40 ppg due to absence of handcheck and lesser physicality of this era.
