Echeveria agavoides Romeo can be a difficult succulent to grow. The best way to propagate them is by growing them from seeds. But first, we have to collect the seeds.

I love it and I could tell you were excited LOL. I know you have sometimes a blase attitude towards your succulents but I could tell you're excited about these seeds 😂 I pulled all the granite out of my soil well I didn't pull all the granite out I just switched up my soil mixture. The granite was keeping my succulent so small. Which was awesome for the winter time and now that they are outside and in the composted cow manure I can't believe how much they've exploded. I'm trying to get rid of everything and I'm only keeping my big varieties like my Gibbiflora and all those hybrids and my dick's pink things like that. My health is declining so I can't keep up with them 😢 But I still get to live vicariously through you and I love you so that makes it good LOL ❤️❤️❤️

Hello Liz, any tips for growing the Romeo and Romeo Rubin? Just got one
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK 2 года назад
In my experience, the first rule is to find a suitable soil mix. I use my Advance soil mix for all my Romeo. Only water when the soil dries up and give a good soak. I find they are one of the easiest plants for me to look after. Good luck.

Do you have a vid about general agavoides care? Idk why but all my agavoides here in lowland Ph, all decide to die, even if I buy imported or locally grown, it will die even if I leave it to air dry for 2 weeks it will magically die
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK 3 года назад
They are the easiest species to take care of. Care for them is no differently from other Echeverias. I have all the tips in my different videos. I'm a great believer in having the right soil mix. In general, Agavoides are easy to take care of....even the Romeos if you have the right soil mix. The plant will tell you when they need water and they thrive on neglect and they prefer a lot of air circulation. So basically, if you were to take an agavoides and stick it in the garden...they will thrive.
@dendreilacsina7715

@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you so much for this, I'll try to experiment with all the tips that I found in different vids, I'll definitely try to make your soil mix and use make my own soil mix(5 kinds) to test on some new agavoides I'll probably buy like 6-8 new ones to experiment on and see which one grow, hopefully one survive since in going all out with akadama and kanuma with that soil😂.

Do you need to separately buy Romeo rubin or can you end up with one through seeds off the original pale red Romeo?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK 2 года назад
Romeo Rubin is a hybrid of unknown parentage to me. I'm "assuming" it's a Romeo x longissima. Any seeds taken from a Romeo will only produce Romeo.
