Jose and are learning all about collecting sap from sugar maples in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While we are having a lot of fun it is also a lot of work. My uncle Harry has been producing syrup for many years and in this video he is sharing with us the collecting process, his filtration system for the sap, and we start the boiling process. We think it's going to be a good year for maple syrup in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
