Glad to see a youtuber having the same skin type as I do 💕 I can’t use too many oils either, only a small amount because of daily bha/aha. You should look into the dr G red blemish clear soothing cream. It is oil free and has so many beneficial ingredients, such as niacinamide, panthenol, cica, licorice and egcg

As usual, your skincare video is always very informative. Thanks to you now I know the reason why I sometimes have this kinda warm & tingling sensation after wearing somebymi h7 hydromax cream; but the product really works wonder to my skin tho, so in my case it becomes tolarable. I love the Cosrx Hydrium Tea Tree Aqua Soothing Gel The Benton Aloe Propolis is not bad either But as you mentioned, both of them are not hydrating enough I have tried Iunik Centella Gel Cream which is quite hydrating but hate the silicone, my face feel so suffocating Is the Isntree Hyaluronic Aqua Gel Cream texture similar to the Cosrx or Benton? Or a bit more occlusive? Is the Isntree more hydrating compare to Cosrx or Benton? Or do you have any moisturizer you feel suit me? I would love hydrating moisturizer with Cosrx texture

Hi! The isntree one is thicker and I usually use it at night while an emulsion is a thinned out moisturiser which can be used during the day time if you have very oily skin!

Hi! You should use it after your moisturiser! Are you using pure oil? It’s really weird that it pills! How much are you applying? You only need a very thin layer!

Thank you for this video! ❤ A good moisturiser is really hard to find for me since my skin is very acne prone, easily clogged but can also get dehydrated. I currently use the bentons aloe gel but like you said I feel like it may not be enough (especially coming into winter now) The isntree one sounds really good but I am wondering if it may be too clogging due to the squalene and some other ingredients? would you say the cosrx one may be a better choice? Xx sorry for the long question btw 💞

Hey! No worries! The Benton gel is definitely not enough if you have dehydrated skin / living in a cold climate! Even in Singapore where it’s humid, I find that it barely seals in any moisture. I would recommend the Cosrx Advance Snail 92 All In One Cream or the The Ordinary’s NMF + HA if you want something that’s 100% oil-free. The oil in the Isntree cream is not too heavy so it’s a good option to consider too! I hope this helps! ☺️💕

I was told that if using a product with aloe, i have to "cover" it with an oclusive product because aloe on its own can dry skin??

That’s right, if you use pure aloe gel that doesn’t contain any emollients. Aloe vera provides moisture but it’ll “dry” the skin because without an emollient/occlusive it will evaporate, taking moisture in your skin with it, causing dehydrated skin. But if the product you’re using contains aloe along with good emollients, you wouldn’t need a separate occlusive!
