I was in grade school at that time, and I remember hearing "December" on the radio all the time. That song got me into them. But I'd say "Heavy" or "Where The River Flows" are my favorites.
I'm 64 and still rocking. I saw them twice so far; first time in Syracuse, NY at a small venue. The 2nd time was Woodstock '99. They were incredible both times!
I wished I could find the Fountain of Youth these guys hid. They sound better than ever. They are still handsome guys. Even the graying hair is like the cool, "silver fox", intentional kind! I have always loved their eclectic style, especially Ed's. They are still one of my all time favorites!
You guys really ending yours for life, still so glad your making this trip. I'm happy in wanting to see you all with 3 doors down this summer 😎 Yeah Dunno if I will make it yet🍀
I got to see them when they were first touring. And made it out to this shit hole club in San Antonio. It was so awesome!!! They really brought the energy that night!! I wish they would come back!!
I went to a meet and great in 95 and talked to the lead singer and my girlfriend asked them if they were Christian and he gave a smirk and said NO but just likes positive lyrics . Strait from the the horses mouth
My favorite band of all time. I swear to that. I seen you guys perform in saint Louis. I really want to go see you guys perform in Marion Illinois in July but financially I can’t afford to this time and you guys are going to be this close. I mean you guys are a great band.
I got to see them live last year at an outdoor amphitheater in the rain after like an hour long lightning delay that ended Switchfoot’s set early. Still put on an awesome show!
@@l.plantagenet I recently found an old scrapbook with photos from the 1995 concert… collective soul opened for Van Halen in Miami… I posted the video here… ru-vid.comtEhgK8HMsLs?feature=share
i like the band and love the song when THEY sing it and they don’t leave it up to the crowd to sing it for them, i hate that shit yet every band does it.
I thought of this the first time I heard this song. Help me. I have "Discerning of Spirits" supernatural Christian gift, but I dont know the real where or why of this analysis on this particular song. I'm sure this band would renounce any connection to any evil deeds, but here goes. If someone would do a movie about the 1860s and this song was a song at a campfire in a place where this band is from, this would be exactly what I envision. Am I the only one? Definitely do some kind of mystical genealogies on these band members. Did you conjure this up accidentally, or did you get this mystical sense in some other way? I'm almost sure of this. Again, the band would definitely renounce any evil actions present here. Just where do I get this?
It's killing my soul that is going so fucking slow!??...is it just me or did my old ass brain break and this used to be a lot faster!?!? I mean it's good, but I'm freaking out like why does my body wanna rage and this sounds like tip toeing?
I was at the show last night, and the bass guitar was by far and away the most dominant instrument in the arrangement, like insanely loud. The rythym and lead guitars were set at an acceptable level, and the drums and vocals could have used a little more volume, but the bass was so out of whack, that drowned out almost everything else going on in the mix. It was the only negative aspect of the show, as the band is very interactive with the crowd and the setlist was outstanding, minus a couple of songs that I would have liked to have seen included that were absent from the set.
