At least you have your own space and privacy, tbh i was laughing when i saw the ashe vase you have on the corner deck, i was hoping you didn't have someone's ashes in there already🤭😂
yes, it’s amazing to have my own space. I’m foreverrrrr grateful for that omg 😭😭 and lolll 😂 I didn’t even know what an urn was til my friend told me. its completely empty from my understand but I hope no one used it for ashes prior cus that would be creepy :/
heyy so I’m a new sub and I’m just wondering... (I’m in perimeter and doing fully online this year) how is the environment on gsu? like do you feel safe and do you feel like youre in a good community? I’m gonna transfer next year and I really wanna know what it’s like😊 Also I love your editing and just your aesthetic loll😊♥️
first of all, thank you so much 🥰🥰 and second of, i personally love the campus. It feels like a community of people who genuinely enjoy the city and environment that they’re in. As for safety, I’ve never had any serious issues since living here. I will say, make sure you have pepper spray and a taser in case you feel uneasy walking around. But it’s never that bad as long as you’re cautious of your environment. I’m tiny and a female... that’s enough for me to be in harms way 😂😂 but I’ve been fine. I promise you will be as well! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here or DM me
I recommend cooking if you are good with budgeting/meal planning and you’re particular about what you like to eat. On the other hand, if you don’t care too much about food specifics/don’t wanna get bombarded with school and cooking, then the meal plan is a good option. It’s honestly on a person by person basis but I personally spend less than I would’ve if I had the meal plan. so cooking def my preference.
i only used putty for the vines but it wasn’t strong enough to hang everything else, so I used command strips for the rest. it did take off paint from the wall when I was moving out but I just bought a tiny container of paint and covered it up. And I’m so happy you found it helpful🤍🥰 more college videos coming soon for sure
Love the dorm tour. I wanted to know does the unit have a linen closet, pantry or a dishwasher? Also, would you know if the four bedroom is the same as the two bedroom?
thank you babe!!! the hanging shelf was from five below. I used adhesive hooks to hang it up and it actually did take paint off from the wall when I was moving out :') but I literally just went to home depot and matched the paint and repainted over the part that was messed up
i’m a sophomore in high school and gsu is my DREAM school! i’m so scared that im not going to get in bc my grades arent amazing. would you think a 3.2 or 3.3 gpa is high enough to get in?
I know a lot of people that have made it in with that GPA so just continue to work hard on increasing it and I think you should be good. they consider multiple things alongside with your GPA like community service, etc. so make sure to spread yourself out in multiple areas. It’ll make your college application look better.
hey freshdew!!! amazing video as always! if you don’t mind, i have a ga state question i need ur opinion on. i just got into the honors college yesterday. but my best friend who i planned on rooming with didn’t. is it normal to have some honors college students that choose not to live in commons, and do you think that i would be at a disadvantage by not living in commons freshman year? i would love to have your opinion before i make my final decision ☺️
Hi! I it is completely normal to have non honor students dorm in commons. I am dorming in commons and I’m not in honors, I don’t think you would have a problem dorming with your best friend.
heyyy!!! So my opinion on your situation is it’s perfectly okay to not live in commons if you’re in honors college. they section out the living space for honors students because it helps you surround yourself with other studious people, though, I doesn’t put you at a disadvantage. If you, say, wanna dorm in central with your friend, you still can. If you think you two will get along living together, it might even be a more enjoyable experience. So if I were in your shoes, I’d choose living with my friend. But it’s completely up to you 🥰
@@SimplyFreshdew thank you so much freshdew and breyana for your opinions!!! it really means a lot to have amazing people like y’all to help us rising freshmen with our questions. i can’t wait to join the panther nation 💙💙💙
omg no, not at all. personally I know if I lived at home, I wouldn’t have been as attentive as I was on campus. I’m not too good with self-learning when I’m not surrounded by other people doing what I’m doing. So by living on campus, I would go on study dates w people all the time and it was easy to do. That helped me a lot with my classes and coping with school. So I 100% don’t regret living on campus this semester.
honestly I’ve never been in lofts so I’m not too sure but ik lofts has a concrete interior so it’s kinda more industrial. it’s further away from the other dorms (piedmont north, central, & commons). but honestly it’s up to you. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help but from my knowledge, lofts is just a concrete version of commons.
Hi, sorry for the late response. I had room C. The thing is, all the layouts are different from each other but most room Cs that I’ve seen are pretty spacious! Hope this could help 🤍🤍
Hey! Loved ur video 💓. I m Tara from India and I am thinking to get in gsu in 2023 for my bachelors. But during submitting my application I also have to apply for scholarship so can u tell me that gsu gives scholarship to internet students who are in need and if they have a full ride scholarship?
Yes! I’ve met a lot of international students on a scholarship that go here. You just have to look into the scholarships they offer and apply on time. :)
on a regular basis, no. they only allow freshman to stay in the freshman specific housing. though, because of COVID a lot of freshman ended up in university commons and I don’t think they picked it on their own. Many of them picked piedmont central but got moved to University Commons because GSU wanted to space out the students. so to simply answer your question, NO .. but because of COVID, they adjusted circumstances for fall 2020 and idk what they might do in the upcoming semesters.
