They all kind of have a point. The Super Bowl is probably the biggest single game. Baseball has the best tension. There’s nothing like the tension you have in a playoff baseball game. Every single pitch is intense. College Basketball probably has the most uncertainty and surprise games. Playoff Hockey probably has the best pace. It’s all great.
Most NFL fans think Championship Sunday is the biggest single sports day on calendar, as opposed to the SB. Super Bowl is definitely the most-hyped game in sports
@gabrieldeck1857 seriously, baseball started a week ago and I have yet to watch a single highlight, like literally a single highlight, let alone a game.
@@youtuber_00786 You clearly not a baseball fan. The season hasn't started per se, opening day is March 28th. It was the Seoul series between the Padres and Dodgers. Even those who wanted to watch couldn't because it was at 3 a.m on Thursday. I know not many people watch every regular season game, but most fans follow the stats and check game or 2 a week.
@@maxb9435 Yeah maybe for you. I agree with the OP. I have nothing against Perk. Love his game and attitude towards the game. But I forreal been seeing him get slandered all over now. The race narrative with JJ Reddick was where it all started. I hope he can adapt and ppl move on. Would hate to see perk exit the media in all honesty.
I really like baseball and basketball my only issue is best out 5 games in every series is way too long . I personally think it should be best out 3 of or best out of 7 . Thats why I really enjoy one game playoffs it’s do or die time and the intensity is off the top .
@TheJakeman91 is it? I man not know much about baseball but when the batter hits the ball arent there like 9 people on the field to catch the ball and stop a play if it's not a homerun?
Ofc perk gonna choose basketball that's all he knows 💀 baseball is the sport where anything can happen. Nobody expected the 2019 Washington nationals to win the world series, they had a 1% chance of making the playoffs let alone winning
Me too...I like some of his takes but it annoys me how he seems so annoyed all the time...its literally a debate show, they aren't supposed to agree with you
@@jesuswest5385 Most college championship games I've seen have been blowouts or never really close, so nah, that's out. The NFL playoffs are usually really good though, yes.

Ratings and data say otherwise sir . NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl has the most viewership of all American sports . If you prefer the sports you mentioned then that’s fine.
@@MarioMartinez-tt9ly we’re talking quality > quantity. I don’t see a how seeded 9-8 packers or any team that squeaks in pulling off an upset. It’s been always the chiefs the last few years and the patriots before that. NO PARODY
Single elimination > 7 game series, not to mention the upsets. Doesn’t come close most Americans don’t give af about the Stanley cup playoffs. I see some upsets in hockey but very rarely.
@@sportsgamer2342It's cool you don't watch hockey so you wouldn't pick it, but as someone who watches it and other sports, it's definitely the most exciting to me. Oddly enough, the first round of the NHL playoffs is the most intense/exciting to watch.
@@dochudson9393 I love hockey and the local red wings. Yzerman, Lidstrom, Shanahan, the Russian 5 were my favorite. But a 7 game series has nothing on single elimination, single elimination you gotta be on your game that day.
I agree with Dan, Baseball not being a timed sport has a lot to do with it. I can't remember all the times you'd hold your breath after every foul ball or pitch. And when your guys gets the biggest hit, homerun, Strikeout, Out. It's the biggest rush ever. Hockey is close too.

If March Madness didn't have brackets, 80% of the people could care less. There's like 8 teams that could realistically win it, with 1 random Cinderella every year
Yeah people think it’s a fun group thing with the bracket for like work or with friends but most people that make brackets don’t even watch the games and March madness falls off after the first 2 rounds
Baseball has so many moments! That’s why it’s the best. Nothing like a walk off homer. Or bases loaded and u get a big strikeout or game saving play. Nothing like it Too many moments
Nah bro, one thing I hate personally with single elimination is any team can have a bad or good day but 7 games gets the most deserving team the win@@sportsgamer2342

SAS’s last point about no one really caring about CBB until March makes the point. I’m a prime example. I honestly could care less until tourney time. Then I’m filling out my bracket and at the end of each day I’m seeing who won/lost.

My favorite sport is basketball but Nhl postseason! The pace is fast, hard hits, good fights. Need to win 16 games to hoist lord stanley! Oldest and hardest trophy to win in north american sports!
@@sportsgamer2342the only, and o do mean ONLY reason people watch “march mediocrity” is because of gambling. Nothing else. Terrible basketball, and no one can name more than 2 players in the entire NCAA. Caitlyn Clark is bigger than all the men put together. That is how far men’s college basketball has fallen. Here’s what younger people don’t seem to understand - not everything evolves. Sometimes things devolve and they just get worse.
@@NoooTheWall32 a lot of times it does. Not always tho. Mlb, nba rating is nothing like nfl because nfl is more entertaining. single elimination > 7 games.
The problem is “best” is not a defined term here so it’s pretty subjective. What I think they were trying to discuss is which playoffs is the most intense. So right off the bat, the playoffs with single elimination are more intense than a series. So that would make the nfl and March madness the two best playoffs. (Leaving out CFP bc it’s so short). And then the final answer has to be the NFL. Not bc of rating or revenue. Bc people don’t truly love any of these teams in March madness, they root for a team so that their bracket will be correct. That’s not what sports is about. It’s about being connected to the teams bc you love rooting for them. So the NFL is the winner. (Shoutout to NHL playoffs bc real sports fans know that playoff overtime is beyond stressful bc of how quick a team can score and end the game)
The caveat in the question is that they're only talking about American-based sports. The elimination stages of the Football (soccer) World Cup would likely draw an audience way larger than any play off sports event that these people spoke about.
Rangers vs. Blue Jays. Bautista 3 run home run and the legendary bat flip. That whole inning. That was the most emotion I've ever felt in a sporting event. Diggs miracle TD vs. Saints a close second
From someone that watches more than 2 sports: 1. NHL Playoffs 2. World Cup 3. March Madness 4-5 can vary depending on a well made argument (probably either NFL or MLB playoffs)
The World Cup for the atmosphere and how much it means and how much people are tuned in. Yes it’s great but I just can’t watch the sport. That’s the only issue whereas hockey isn’t as popular there’s definitely not as many people watching the NHL playoffs, but yet pretty much every year I’m glued to the TV because the sport itself is just so much more entertaining. I know a lot of people of soccer and I’m not here to criticize the sport different strokes for different folks. I just can’t watch it.
When it comes to College sports you got the two forgotten sports, you have the Mens Frozen Four, or the College Cup Championships for Football (Soccer) both are underrated tournaments in College Sports I’ll give a shout-out to those two.
Post season baseball has all the feels. When it's cold and late October and runners in scoring position has another level of excitement. March Madness is exciting, the feeling of baseball in October is unmatched.
Bro and her take was trash the fifa wc is easily the biggest sporting event in the world. Best postseason comes down to opinion and preference mostly Americans care about the superbowl not the rest of the world.
If you consider the World Cup than it's by far number 1 in both popularity and excitement, simply the best. The last Final was the greatest sporting event of my lifetime
I’m American but i can’t stand when we say Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in the world just ignoring the World Cup is way WAY bigger than anything we do in the states
@@blackanimelover18 based on what? Football sure but there’s still a debate between baseball/basketball. Even if basketball were more popular it’s not by much so it still doesn’t make sense why it’s talked about so much more
Hey Molly Molly plz shut up 🤫 Post season football is not exciting at all SuperBowl is cool in all but NCAA basketball march madness is the top post season period 🫡🤷🏾🤣🤫🤔☝🏾💪🏿💯….
Where March Madness loses its luster is that the best team doesn’t always win… one bad night and you’re done… take Gonzaga getting blown out by Baylor after an undefeated season.
Wait, why March Madness? I don't get why you'd want to watch players that are not the best of the best in the world at what they do. I don't want to speak out of turn for popular worldwide sports (i.e futbol, cricket, F1) because they are regrettably kinda a blind spot for me, but for North American sports I honestly think that MLB (and the WBC when it comes around) and NHL are the answers. They do the best job of building tension and every single game can be won by either team because it's so unpredictable. In the NBA and in the NFL, the same guy(s) can carry you to a victory. LeBron, Jordan, KD, Steph, Mahomes, Brady, etc. But in baseball, most of the postseason heroes are not the most elite guys, especially for offense. Howie Kendrick, Jorge Soler, and Joc Pederson come to mind. As for hockey and also baseball, scoring is so hard to come by that when they happen, it is a huge memorable moment. Now, scoring has gone up for both, but the same is still true. Out of all the possessions and all of the at bats, a much small percentage of them lead to any scoring, which leads to a rush of emotions and release of tension that other sporta don't have.
but how many people fill out brackets and dont watch the games. they check on the scores and its fun to do brackets but millions of people do it and dont even watch the games. nfl and hockey are both better because families come together and watch the games live, they dont just text afterwards asking about how their bracket is doing after checking the scores.

Most of their players havent made a dime from the game and surely wont be going pro but play for themselves, teammates, their families, their school and of course the love of the game. The opportunity for the everyday athlete to have a chance at greatness is why March Madness has my vote.

Agree with Dan, I love march Madness, NBA playoffs, the NFL, but there's nothing like hanging on every pitch, regular season baseball is the most chill sport, playoff baseball is fycking terrifying if your team is involved lol
The 80s Baseball playoffs peaked. They got near Superbowl numbers throughout 7 game series and made a huge deal out of whole cities taking on each other.
This people haven't watched the Champions League or the World Cup and are talking nonsense. Having said that, March Madness is great. Absolutely amazing.
I hate baseball for being slow and not engaging enough as a fan. The regular season is a pain to watch unless you're actually at the game and even then it's a background event to a social gathering. That being said for the postseason that slow burn is such an incredible ride. Knowing every pitch matters and there is only 27 outs and it's slowly building to the final moment is something that other sports don't capture. I'd put it number 2 as far as postseasons go. That being said postseason hockey from the first round all the way through is on another level.
My fav sport is NBA basketball but there’s a lot of problems w the postseason. A lot of the matchups in the first round are snooze fest when 1 team is better than the other, and a 7 game series can draw out sometimes. They’ll never do it but the postseason would be so much more exciting if the first round was a best of 3 and the last 3 rounds were a best of 5. Games 6 and 7s are typically always must see TV and have legendary moments
Molly's right it's the NFL playoffs. The NHL has the best opening round. March Madness has the best opening two rounds (the opening weekend). MLB has intriging games here and there. The NBA doesn't get going until after the first round (arguably the first two rounds). But if you ask people to list the last ten champions of any playoffs, more people would accurately list the NFL champs and couldn't tell you who won the World Series, Stanley Cup, NBA Finals or March Madness three years ago lol
March Madness gets boring after the Sweet 16. The NBA Playoffs don't need a 7-game series in the first round! The MLB and NFL are consistently entertaining from the opening round.
@thialhoinj1971 did you watch the Panthers repeatedly come out of nowhere and end up in the finals last year? The play changes, and that's also what makes it better. The other sports can't say that.
NFL takes the cake. There are so few games that they all have a lot of weight. Next is probably march madness because it's very quick. Followed by the nba finals depending on the march up. Then baseball. Edit: as a non baseball fan who will happily go to a game but not watch one... I have no idea of any of the iconic moments he was mentioning lol.
