I’m taking a capstone class this semester as well and mine is so different from yours. Mine has an exit exam at the end. As well as presentations over random topics for the whole semester.

On discussion boards there is 2 little number in the top right of the initial post the teacher makes. It tells you how many student have already post their post. Hope that helps

OMG It still hasn't hit me yet that I just started my last semester at SDSU almost two weeks ago and I graduate on my birthday (May 14, 2022). @@KeeganActon Alphabet, the parent company of both Google and RU-vid, uses sophisticated, AI-based algorithms to filter out comments with words or phrases that it thinks might be spam or otherwise offensive. Except, these spam filters, if you can call them that, don't work as intended, and instead they auto-delete people's comments that are otherwise totally harmless. The same thing happened to me the other day when I tried to suggest to you new places to shop for business suits.

I too don't like the fact people write and submit their DBP (discussion board post) until the very last minute. Don't get me wrong, I was one of those people too. However, I am trying to not procrastinate this semester, as this is my final semester of grad school. Also, my only learning-intensive class (because my other class is thesis writing), only has 4 people (myself included). So, we ALL have to participate. It's great because we are getting to all sides of the conversation for the topic at hand and we aren't learning the subject matter "passively." On the flip side, there is this awkward moment of the conversation where the professor ends the conversation and lets us talk. We don't know who is going to talk first. If there is more than one person talking, who gets the floor? This is for my online class so, this situation would be 110% different in an in-person setting.

I feel the same way with discussion replies. I also have professors with stupid rules like you can't post your replies until 24 hours after you did your original post even if other students already posted. I even had a professor that made you do 3 replies to the discussion board on 3 different days. I hate those rules with the discussion board because I'm a get it all done at once person if other students already posted.

Hi Keegan! I was listening to you talk about selling your clothes and I wondered if you had considered giving them to secondhand stores at all? I don't know if Value Village is something you have in Arizona, but there are also places I know of such as Goodwill that would sincerely appreciate receiving your clothes! I don't know how Goodwill works, but I know that with Value Village, you receive mad discounts to their store and the funds received from your clothing go towards deserving non-profits! Thrifting is my favourite place to buy clothes, and a thrift store would accept pretty much any clothes you donate!
