Definitely! I'm in the UK too, and found the differences between here and Norway (where I grew up and did my first year) huge, but they're still more similar than the US system!
I just took my final exam of my graduating year today and it feels really weird. I mean, I don’t even know what I am going to do - job? Masters? Anyway, London is really messed up right now due to covid19 and our government has no idea what to do .... people dying left right and centre.
British citizens pay £9,250 per year (its more if you go to oxford and Cambridge and depends on the degree etc). International students pay 3x the price.. also, in the uk we have this thing called student finance which is set by the government and they give loans to all university students. Obviously we pay it back but only when we start to earn over £21,000 per year do they start deducting.
The way that you talk about your church really makes me want to visit it ! Although I am catholic, I am really into visiting and learning about different churches and religions.
I feel the same way! I love experiencing other religions as well! I’ve attended many different churches and it’s so cool to see how others worship! There are congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints worldwide and we would love you to come a visit!
I graduated from SVU last year! You’ll absolutely LOVE it! There actually is a lot to do there. One of my favorite things was an FHE where we went to Lexington just 10 minutes away to do a ghost tour. Our tour guide was my YSA bishop! They do the ghost tours for a month in October so you can do them any time.

I went to a private Christian school all my life and graduated with a class of 11. Now I go to University of Central Florida (also Knights) and it's the largest university in the nation with over 69,000 students. I love it here! And you tend to see the a lot of the same people who you start your major so it's not that bad.
BYU is literally my dream school but I want to go to Hawaii. I live overseas so and with the pandemic I kind of have a doubt that I would get in, so I plan on just trying to get in after I serve my mission (in which I will pass my papers next year when I'm sure it's safe to travel so I could get the full experience) and after I finish up pathway so I could lessen the courses cause I would already gain units so I'm really looking forward for the future

I think it will be great to see the difference between US colleges as I am just finishing my 3rd year of my degree at a London university and never really thought about attending school internationally. Also, it’s interesting that cost is a factor for US colleges, in the UK, most universities cost the same per year, and most students get it it paid by student finance as a loan. A little bit of advice when it comes to big classes or situations with lots of people, is that you can’t always avoid them and sometimes you have to be uncomfortable to get comfortable. Anyways! In college, the instructors are more honest with you and some of them will ask if you do anything outside of college. The college I attend is the university to the Rio Grande and community college. I attend the Meigs Center.

travel is a really big thing for uni, I'm going from Melbourne to Perth ( same distance as Florida to la) and I'm only 17 and autitistic so i have a lot of trouble with social anxiety and communication but it's better than where i am now sooo

At a youth conjunction this year, the SVU Acappella group came to my stake and and sang for us which was really neat. Oh you are also near Charlottesville which is about a hour drive. ❤️❤️❤️
Hey!! I just stumbled upon your channel and love it! I actually go to SVU!!! This will be my second year there; it is such an amazing school and the spirit is so strong on campus! I’m a convert so being surrounded by other members is amazing and the institute program is so good!! There are a lot of fun things to do around BV even if it’s in the middle of nowhere 😂 ❤️

Hi Riley, I am a student in Taiwan,I also attend to college this year. The tuition in USA is so so so expensive. The cheapest tuition in your choices is almost the most expensive in our country. How do you attend this college ? Like submitting papers or face to face meeting. I am really exciting to see your video in college!
I'm loving your content! Honestly though, I really thought you were gonna say Ohio State. I do want to point out a thing that you got wrong about OSU, and this is coming from someone who is going into their third year there and who went to a very small high school: Most classes do not have hundreds of people in them. When you sign up for classes, you can see how many people are in each one because there are spot limits, and a ton of classes are around 30 people per class. If you want large classes, you can pick them. If you want smaller classes, you can pick them. The largest class I have been in would be my art history 2002 class, and it was a bit over 200 people for lecture but around 30 for recitation. Also, I thought I would never run into people I knew while just walking around but was I wrong. Every where I turned I would run into people, no matter what part of campus I was on. If you talk to people in your classes, join some clubs, and get out of your comfort zone a bit you will meet and build connections with so many people. You seem really happy about where you are going, and I'm excited for you! University is what you make of it, and while things will be different now, do the most but DON'T over do it. Make time for yourself. Good luck!!
Here in Brazil there are lots of public universities and they are really well-regarded, I always wonder how is it to live in a country where there aren't many options like that
it’s crazy for me (as a french girl) to hear that college is so expensive here in america, in france if u have a scholarship u don’t pay anything, it’s totally free and if u don’t have a scholarship u just pay registration fees that are 70€ the first year if i remember well, let’s say that’s it’s nothing to get the chance to study

I was really wanting to go to a group of 8 (Australian version of the ivy league) uni for years and wanted to go to Oxford before that, now I'm going to go to a small uni in Perth that has really good disability services and access programs (I'm doing a uniready course instead of year 11 and 12 because my school is very bad)
I clicked because of BYU! I'm planning on applying there but I'm not from Utah so I don't know if I'll like it out west. SVU is also a good school but the campus is very small and the tuition is a but pricey.
It's crazy how expensive universities in the US are, i'm from the Netherlands and every university/college has the same tuition and it's 2143 euros (=2471 USD) per YEAR. We don't have like dorms on campus but still....
I've wanted to go to BYU since I was a little girl because I live in Utah. My brother and my sister are going to go to BYU and my oldest brother goes to UVU so I my family would be really close.
Hey Stephanie! Thank you so much! I only have two other girls in my graduating class. One is going into the US Air Force and the other is going to a college in Michigan so neither of them will be going to college in the same place as me. I’ll be going in without knowing anyone lol 😊
There are actually only 3 students in my graduating class lol one of them is going into the Air Force and the other is going to Hillsdale. So no one is going to SVU with me.

Im from Argentina, i go to a private but subvencioned school and i have 28 classmates in my year, that's only on the afternoon, because in the morning there are like 30 people of my age.
I’ve gotten into a few Universities but haven’t chosen which one to go to yet. It’s such a big decision especially since I’ll be leaving the country I’m in for it.
