Kicking World. Cool video. I'm a 54 year old dude, and kicked for my high school (straight on!!, not soccer style). I still enjoy going to the parks and practicing. At my age I can hit 45 (barely) half of the time, but it's fun, and good exercise. People come watch and look at how straight on kicking looks. I think my beer belly gives me some good momentum I didn't have back in the day.
Bill Browne you probably won’t see this reply but I’m going to be a freshman next year and I’ve never played football before but my dad took me kicking my first time today and I hit 20 yards with the ball directly on the ground (no 2/1 inch tee) do you think that’s good enough for my age and will I be able to play next year? I can probably raise that to 25-30 by the end of the summer and I really want to make the football team
Wish I had a kicking coach like you, I play in the UK for a team in London. I've had to teach myself from the ground up. But I watch these videos over and over again to see the techniques. Awesome stuff.
I'm 13, and I want to go onto a highschool football team as a kicker, and then onto college. I'm not aiming for the NFL because I know that will be extremely difficult. I'm aiming to be a PE Coach after college. I go into highschool next year, and I hope thats where I can begin my kicking career.
Good question. With all our students we have several effective drills to help create more consistency. Check out Coach Brent’s Kicking dvd at www.kickingworld.com/shop which disc 2 has so many awesome drills for you!

Sherri Olsen he could barely kick a 55 yarder without pads or a defensive line coming at him, and with no crownd screaming their head off, he wouldn’t have the power to be a nfl kicker unless he could kick a lot farther, most nfl kickers can up to about 80 yards in practice so that is a big difference in power
